Creflo A. Dollar, Jr discusses America's call to prayer and revival.

No Fear

Over the past several weeks, our nation has seen and experienced a series of shocking events. Many have experienced great loss, and we continue to pray for them. But even in times such as these, we should not fear because God has made provision for us in His Word. The people of God should go forth in confidence.

When terrorists attacked the World Trade Center they wanted to put fear in the hearts of people and make them react in fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (Timothy 1:7).

Don't allow the terrorists to make you curtail the necessary activities of your life. A harrowing incident drove home these truths even more to Creflo.

On a ministry trip to Sacramento last year Creflo and others were involved in a near-fatal traffic accident. Their Suburban was hit from the side by a woman, rushing her mother to the hospital, running a red light. The car struck just as they had finished confessing how God takes care of His own.

One passenger was thrown head-first from the vehicle and landed with his head through the windshield of the other vehicle -- landing face forward in the woman's car. The scene was so gruesome that the police called the coroner first, then the medics. Mercifully and amazingly, no one was seriously hurt (minor cuts but no broken bones), and the others walked away from the vehicle.

Surviving such a traumatic accident unhurt helps Creflo keep all things in perspective. Creflo went on to preach that night, glorifying God. He now says that if the enemy didn't get him last year, he is not afraid of what the terrorists would do.

Having many ministry partners living in New York, Creflo's church was flooded by testimonies of God's protection during the attack. Some say they uncharacteristically overslept, there were missed messages and connections with others and last minute schedule changes. God providentially cared for them in the midst of trouble. Put your trust in the One who can give you peace that passes all understanding.

Go Forward

Having survived the attack it is now time for the nation and the church to move forward. In

as the children of Israel fled Egypt with Pharaoh on their heels, even as God was delivering them, they froze with fear. God told Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward." God is saying to us today to not dwell on the incident to the point that it stops us from moving ahead.

America is a nation founded on the principles of God and the Word of God, but America has abandoned her Christian roots. We have gone far from the Lord and His ways. We have turned God out of our schools, have pushed Him out of our public lives in so many ways. The country is founded on the principles of "In God We Trust" as printed on our money, but we don't really trust God. Creflo believes America needs to repent.

America needs to change its ways, he says. We need to turn back to God. Repentance is what is needed now. It is a total change of mind, ways, and direction.

We must look at our lives individually. If we see we are on a road that is going the wrong way, we need to stop, evaluate, and turn around. Turn around if you are not going the right way.

These are the end times. There is an urgent need to get the Gospel out to the hurting and the unsaved. On Sept. 11 the nation was brought to its knees. There are seeds of revival because the nation is on its knees in prayer.

Creflo's ministry teaches the blessings of prosperity. Tithing is a key part of receiving the blessings of God. As a prime example of these blessings World Changers Church was debt-free upon its completion.
