CBN.com NASHVILLE, TN -- Season One of the Christian Music Makeover concludes next month, but high-profile sponsors continue to get involved with the highly successful campaign. Thanks to a partnership between Cross Driven Records, Nashville Publicity Group, and an unprecedented number of unique corporate sponsors, the band Daniel’s Window embarked in January on a six month “reality-TV style” makeover via the interactive website at www.ChristianMusicMakeover.com.

Part Extreme Makeover and part Making the Band, this unique promotional campaign capitalizes on the current pop-culture “reality” phenomenon, while allowing Christian music fans to directly interact with the band, monitor their transformation and should they choose to, implement their own personal “makeover”. The Christian Music Makeover not only emphasizes the physical, but the spiritual as well – a complete makeover, from the inside-out.

National radio personality and best-selling author Dave Ramsey has joined the campaign to help the band transform their personal and band finances through his "Total Money Makeover" campaign. As a bonus for Makeover fans, the campaign is giving away a "Dave Ramsey Prize Pack" featuring a Dave Ramsey library of autographed books including the New York Times bestsellers Financial Peace Revisited and Total Money Makeover.

NavPress has also joined the campaign to raise awareness for The Message: a benefit for tsunami relief, which plans to raise upwards of $500,000 for tsunami restoration efforts by releasing a commemorative edition Message Bible. NavPress is contributing 100% of net proceeds to a group of international relief organizations with a long-term commitment to countries in the disaster zone, including Compassion International, World Vision, Global Action, and The Navigator Tsunami Relief Fund.

The Musical Makeover portion of the campaign also welcomes performance and ministry coach Chuck Sugar. With over two decades in the industry, Chuck works with artists to help them better define the ministry to which God has called them. He helps to create the content to be shared in concert between songs, and teaches the artist how to use effective performance techniques to best communicate the message to their audience in a way that is life-changing. His clients have included such artists as Everman, Sierra, Cindy Morgan, Rachel Lampa, Fusebox, Palisade, Anointed, Katy Hudson and many others. Chuck has been working with Daniel's Window in both Chicago and Nashville, and the band has journaled about their progress.

Additional sponsors already participating in the Christian Music Makeover include Jenny Craig, Daisy Rock Guitars, MAC Cosmetics, Dry Ice, Merchplaza, DATOmana, Faith & Fitness Magazine, CMCentral.com, Howard Publishing's The Total Temple Makeover, Natural Physiques, and Campus Life Magazine, who is giving away a Christian Music Makeover prize pack in it's current June/July issue, featuring over $1000 worth of products featured in the Makeover campaign.

“We are incredibly excited about the success of Season One of the Christian Music Makeover,” says Makeover creator Brian Mayes. “The label and I were excited about the idea from the beginning, and thrilled to see so many incredible companies catch the vision and so many incredible fans participate along the way! We never could have anticipated the demand and interest, and I am looking forward to Season Two and the new partnerships currently being put into place.”

Plans are currently underway for Season Two to launch in January 2006, and talks are underway for the Christian Music Makeover to move from the internet to a popular Christian television network. Additional details will be announced in the fall.

ABOUT THE BAND
Since forming in 1997, Heather, Caleb, Alby, Bill and Jesse have performed nearly 1,000 shows throughout the U.S. The Chicago-based group has shared the stage with some of the industry's biggest names, and made regular appearances at Acquire the Fire, Youth Encounter and Youth Specialties events. So it's no surprise that Christianity Today named the group one of the "Top 10 Independent Artists You Should Know". Non-stop touring and high-profile performances at some of the nation's largest youth conferences caught the attention of Cross Driven Records. The result is Strangely Looking Forward - a powerful worship-infused pop/rock collection of songs produced by Billy Smiley. The CD was released in November and is available through Provident-Integrity Distribution.
