China's Children During WWII

These pictures of children from the 1940s are some of my favorites from the Life collection.  They probably didn't have the easiest childhoods during this time in history, which other pictures demonstrate.  Even in the midst of potential bomb threats and uncertainty, they're enjoying the simple things in life and each other's company.
