Aun & The Children's Home

The food supply had nearly run out at this Christian home for children in Thailand. Without money to buy more, Pastor Sumrom and his wife knew what would come next.

Mrs. Sumrom explains the seriousness of the situation. “If we shut the home down, the children would have nowhere to go.”

Pastor Sumrom asked all of the children and staff to pray for a miracle.  A few days later,   someone from CBN came by for a visit.

Pastor Sumrom spoke with the visitor.  “I told him that we needed food!”

CBN‘s Orphan’s Promise began providing money and food for the children’s home each month, including sacks of rice and other staples.   We also gave them seeds and fertilizer to grow their own vegetables.

16 year old Aun is one of the children who lives here.  She’s taken on the role of “big sister” to all of the younger children.

Aun says, “The children eat healthy food that makes their bodies strong so they don’t get sick. I’m very grateful to CBN!”

And thanks to help from CBN‘s Orphan’s Promise, the home has recently been able to take in a few more children, including Aun’s twin sister, Joy.

Pastor Sumrom sees God at work in this blessing. “I believe that God planned for CBN to come and help us, so that the children would see that God answers prayers.”

Aun shares, “We’re very happy!  Thank you, CBN, for helping us and making us feel loved.”
