Angels Among Us: Sammy and Olivia’s Miraculous Comeback

Sammy and Olivia are a devoted couple whose lives were turned upside down after Sammy received emergency heart surgery.

Olivia responded, “It was heartbreaking. I was like thinking I was going to lose him. He’s my best friend.” 

With Sammy forced to be out of work while he recovered, the couple’s income took a major hit.

“She still working every day. She was doing 80, 90, 100 hours a week,” said Sammy.

Olivia described, “At that point, I thought we were going to drown. Because when we sat there and was talking, I said, ‘We can’t put so much on the credit card. You know, what are we doing for food?’” 

That’s when the couple turned to Volunteer Way, a partner of Operation Blessing.

“I felt that God was there, He was helping us, He was holding His hand out to us and telling us, ‘You’re going to be okay,’” Olivia said. 

Thanks to your support, Sammy and Olivia received the help they needed to get back on their feet. Now Sammy is working again and giving back to the community. 

“You have helped us in our time of need and I could never thank you enough,” said Olivia.

“Thanks to you, I’m here today. You are my angel in earth!” said Sammy.
