Superbook is Transforming Lives in Honduras
In a coastal community in Honduras, hope came alive for dozens of children through two unforgettable events featuring CBN Animation’s Superbook at a local school. For many of these children, life is marked by challenges—but for two days, their hearts were filled with joy, faith, and the truth of God’s Word.
The first event began with prayer and the screening of the Superbook episode “Gideon.” Through two engaging lessons, interactive activities, along with the powerful SuperTruth (main lesson takeaway) and SuperVerse (memory verse), the children learned that God calls and equips even the most hesitant hearts. They eagerly participated in discussions, crafts, and games, and left with summary sheets to review at home.
On the second day, the excitement grew. The children returned ready to answer questions from the previous lessons, earning small prizes for their knowledge. Then came Lesson #3, centered on the SuperTruth: “With God I can do great things.” Together, they sang the Salvation Poem and discovered that, just like Gideon, they too are chosen by God to accomplish great things through him.
The most beautiful moment came when 56 children prayed to receive Jesus as their Savior. After hearing about his love, his sacrifice on the cross, and his resurrection, they joyfully accepted the gift of salvation. As one participant declared:
“Glory to God for his love shown through his work on the cross, paying the price for our salvation and giving us the gift of eternal life.”
These two days were life-changing encounters with Jesus. Through Superbook, children in Honduras are learning that they are loved, chosen, and empowered by God.
