The story of Jonah and the whale is often one you're taught as a child. But as an adult, the idea of a grown man being swallowed by a whale and emerging unscathed may sound absurd. Psalm 98 is a beautiful chapter about praising, singing and giving thanks to the Lord for everything. Be inspired to celebrate our heavenly Father with passion.

I am filled with a spirit of conviction and truth whenever I read from 1 John. God is always present in my life, no matter where I am or what I am doing. Although I may be able to tell lies to myself and even to other people, God is always aware of the truth. Are you walking in the light of God, or are you stumbling in the darkness?

All of us are called to be disciples of His Word. However, before we set out to speak and educate wherever and however God directs, we must first commit to learning, comprehending, and believing the truth of His Word. Does anyone else feel like the Bible can seem overwhelming?

God often uses our journey as parents raising children to reach us in His own way. The lessons we have to teach our little ones are the ones He often reminds us of each and every day. He's worthy of our trust and obedience. When we listen and follow his commands, we will be greatly blessed.

Have you ever felt that your sin, or someone else's, is too deep to be forgiven? For as long as this author can remember, the wonderful teachings and letters of the Apostle Paul have held her attention. When we see such divine love and obedience in the life of a man who had been the worst of the worst, we find evidence of the life-transformational power of our Lord and Savior.
