Regent University marked a milestone this weekend at its 35th commencement: the school celebrated its 20,000th graduate.

Family and friends gathered on the school's campus Saturday to recognize the Class of 2015 from Regent's seven graduate schools and undergraduate program.

Dr. Pat Robertson, the university's founder and chancellor, presided over the ceremony.

"It is a great day to be a part of Regent University and this is going to be a tremendous graduation. Congratulations to all of you," he told the graduates.

The ceremony featured Dr. Jay Sekulow as the keynote speaker. He's the chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice and the European Center for Law and Justice.

"Let me encourage you today to be flexible, to be molten, so that God can create in you the unique work that only you can do," he said.

Also on hand was Rep. Scott Rigell, himself a Regent alumnus.

"I'm so grateful for what I learned here and the value of servant leadership," he said. "And that civility is not weakness and that we can love our neighbor and fight for our country."
