Recent high profile cases of white police officers killing unarmed blacks have been been making headlines across the country.

The latest incident involves a South Carolina cop shooting an unarmed black man named Walter Scott in the back. The shooting was captured on video.
    
The issue has sparked national outrage and prompted protests and calls for justice.  But many point out that there a lot of misperceptions about police officers and that there are more good ones than bad ones.
