A Mission of Love: Spreading His Way and the Word
CBN.com – Every day, leaders create positive change in the lives of others around the world. Through mission trips, community events and other acts of service, these individuals illustrate exemplary character, strengthening their position as those who guide and mentor others. Their examples of leadership do not go unnoticed in the lives of those they touch and in the perception of those that follow them.
A group of Regent University students recently took a mission trip to Washington, D.C., choosing to spend their spring breaks engaged with some of the district's most marginalized individuals -- their homeless population. By partnering with local churches and working with urban youth, the group provided help and hope to those whose lives they touched, learning the importance of selflessness and seeing the all-encompassing power of God’s love first-hand.
