– VIRIGNIA BEACH, Va., June 7, 2004 -- We share the grief of Mrs.
Reagan, her family, and those who loved Ronald Reagan. I think America is truly
mourning the loss of this great man. He was a towering figure, a man of strength
and faith -- a leader of which we can all be proud. I think the fact that the
Cold War is over was primarily the doing of Ronald Reagan. The tremendous financial
blessing that this nation enjoyed for many years was put into place by his tax
and fiscal policies back in the early 1980s. He was a towering president and
he will be greatly missed.
