- Amen, all right, well, let's tell the truth now.
We've got a question, Pat, from Stephen.
He wants to know, "Shoulda couple have gold
"and silver in their home?
"Would exchanging $40,000 cash for gold
"and silver be smart for a senior couple?"
- You know, you can't answer a question
like that by itself, because it has to do
with your financial picture altogether.
Is this just like a side investment,
or is this your major source?
I don't know what it is.
From what I've seen recently, the dollar
has been so strong, but now the Fed
is flooding the world with dollars,
and consequently, theprice of gold has gone up.
It jumped really strongyesterday because, people,
the guys who were short in the market
were trying to cover their shorts,
so they had to sell their gold holdings
in order to pay their shorts.
But that's over now, so, it changes.
But it depends on youroverall financial picture.
You say, "Would it be smartto have it or sell it?"
(coughs) I think gold is a great hedge,
but (coughs) it doesn't pay any dividends.
So I think it's a small part.
If it's 10% of yourholdings, that's good, okay?
- All right, here's one from David.
He said, "Is it wrong to play a game
"where you have to attack other players
"and take their stuff?"
- (laughs) I grew up playing Monopoly.
Monopoly was, you build your apartments
on Park Place and Broadway,
and then they landed onyou, you took their stuff.
(laughs) That was the game.
- I know, I wonder what he means
by "where you have to attack," 'cause you
don't really attack in Monopoly.
- If you're playingsome of the video games,
you're attacking.
I tell you, we have at Regent University
a cyber center that added an attack mode,
so if somebody comes after us,
we can go after them with the attack mode.
So we know who it isthat's doing the attack,
and we go after 'em.
- [Wendy] That's right.
- Hey, that's warfare.
I don't know which game you're playing.
Some of those games are so brutal.
I don't think you're talking about that.
All right, what else?
- Okay, Carol says "Hi, Pat.
"My question is, with thisvirus going around the world,
"and just today there wasan earthquake in Utah,
"do you believe this is the beginning
"of what Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24?"
- Well, you know, He says,"This gospel of the Kingdom
"shall be preached aroundall the world for witness,
"and then the end is gonna come."
And I think He said therewere wars and rumors of wars,
there'd be earthquakes, there'd be plagues
in diverse places, and so forth.
I get a feeling that we're getting
a little closer to the end.
I don't know how muchleft to go in prophecy.
We have gotten, almostall the languages on earth
have been translated.
By, I think, 2036 orsomething, we'll have at least
a fragment of every languageon the face of the earth.
And CBN, for example, is broadcasting
all around the world on television.
This is getting close to that.
But we have to be prepared, we're occupied
when He comes back, that'sthe big deal, all right?
What else?
- All right, Francis says,"Pat, each time I watch you,
"I see the assurance that you will sit
"very close to God's righthand on the last day.
"How can I pray to live a life
"that will get such assurances for me?"
- Give yourself to theLord, and surrender,
surrender, surrender.
And, "It's not my will, butThine," is what Jesus said,
and that's what you want.
"It's not those that day, 'Lord, Lord,'
but those who do the willof My Father in heaven."
The Bible is very clearas to what you should do,
follow the leading of the Holy Spirit,
and day by day by day byday, you pray with the Lord.
Every day you walk with the Lord,
you walk in the lightas He is in the light.
