- Uh, welcome.
I mean, this is the show-thing.
- Hey, everybody, welcometo The Superbook Show.
We're glad you're here.
- That's what I said, right?
- No.
You seem distracted.
(chattering)
(whooshing)
- I have been distracted, you're right.
- Well, what's going on?
- Well, I just got some bad news.
My dad got a new job,
and we might have to move.
Everything's changing.
- Aw, I'm sorry.
I get it.
Anything I can do to help?
- Do you know anything about peace?
- Piece of what?
- No, no, no, like P-E-A-C-E,like peace of mind.
- I know it comes from God.
I know it can protect us.
- Wait, protects us?
- The Bible says to notworry about anything
but pray about everything that bothers us.
- I don't think I've prayedabout this move at all.
- If you do and thankGod for what he's done
his peace will guard yourheart and mind in Christ Jesus.
- See that's what I need,
but there's one problem.
- Problem?
- I don't really knowwhat to thank him for.
I mean, this wholething kind of seems bad.
- Not if you change your perspective.
- Wait what.
What are you even talking about?
- Give me a second.
Here it is.
Whenever I think of this,it reminds me of you.
- Jerk!
Are you calling me a jerk?
- Who me?
I would never.
- Ya think ya know a girl, and--
- Look now.
- Wait, jerk chicken?
This is a menu.
- I know how much you like Caribbean food.
You should try this spot.
It's delicious.
- Wait, but that's not fair.
I couldn't see the whole thing.
- Exactly.
A lot of times when things happen to us,
we can't see the whole thing.
We only see things basedon how they effect us now.
- Oh, you got me.
But what am I not seeing right now?
- For one thing, your dad has a job.
You could be moving becauseyour dad lost his job.
Think about it.
- I guess I do havesomething to thank God for.
- Always.
- I was just so focused onhaving to move to a new school
and make new friends
that I wasn't thinking of stuff like that.
- Hey, you're human.
The good news is, when youpray about your worries
and thank God, his peace willhelp with all the what-if's.
- The what-if's?
- What if I don't like my new school?
What if I don't make new friends?
What if, what if, what if.
- But then how does peace help?
- For me, it helps by keepingthose what-if questions
from coming into my mind so much.
But--
- But what?
- When they do come, youjust keep coming back to God.
Like the scripture says, pray about everything.
- Awesome.
I'm on it.
Thanks for helping.
You know what?
You remind me about this book I'm reading.
- The Problem?
You think I'm a problem?
- What, me?
Never.
- 'The Problem Solver.'
You got me.
- His word is forever alive.
(whooshing)
