- Welcome back to the "Superbook Show",
and we haven't said itenough, Merry Christmas.
Oh, it's only two days away!
I love this time of year.
Now, last week we had some of our hosts
share their favorite Christmas traditions.
And this week we want to keepthe good times rocking by...
Oh sorry, I got a little distracted.
This week we want to keepthe good times rockin',
by having some of our other hosts
share their favoriteChristmas traditions as well.
So without further ado,
favorite holiday traditions, part two.

- Hey guys, Miriam here, and one Christmas tradition
that I am super duper, duperthankful for is that our family
attends our church's ChristmasEve service every year.
What makes it unique is that our church
puts on a Christmascantata and you can think
of a cantata as likethis grandiose concert,
with a choir, and a Gospel presentation,
and a ton of like delicious tasting food,
and it's just super fun.
What's cool is that for eachsong that the choir sings,
there's actually a soloistselected to lead each song.
And recently, the last couple of years,
I've been selected as one of the soloists,
and there have been some moments
where I'm like crazynervous about my solo,
but it's been so encouragingto be able to look
into the congregationand to see my family,
and even sometimes family friends,
there to be supportive of me every year.
And I'm thankful for it.

- Hey everyone, it's Alex.
Merry Christmas!
I want to tell you about myfavorite Christmas tradition.
So a few years back whenwe got my beagle Sam,
he was a small and relatively light dog.
So, my family and I went to take a picture
in front of the Christmastree and we held Sam up
and throughout the yearswe've been recreating
this family photo and puttingeach of them on our mantel.
And let's just say, Samhas gained a bit of weight.
So it's been harder andharder to take the pictures,
but it's a fun time with my family,
and it always remindsme that it's Christmas.

- Hey everybody.
So one of my favorite Christmastraditions is every year
around Christmas and New Year's actually,
we make this Boliviandessert called pastel.
Essentially what it is is,it's this semi-sweet dough
that's really, really hard to make,
and it takes a lot of effort, but we make this dough,
and we flatten it out into little circles.
We'll stuff it with mozzarella cheese,
and then fry it, and eat itwith powdered sugar at the end.
A lot of people think thecombination is kind of weird,
but I really love it, and Ilook forward to it every year,
and whoever I offer it to,they end up loving it too.
So, I'm super excited tohave that this Christmas.

- Hey everyone, it's Sean.
My favorite Christmas tradition is one
that my family has doneeven before I was born,
and that is painting Christmas ornaments.
Every year we go to the store and we
buy some unfinished ornaments.
We usually invite some friends over,
but obviously we're notdoing that this year.
These are some that I'vepainted in the past.
I hope that this year will not prevent you
from enjoying your favoritetraditions with your family.
This year has changed a lot, but one thing
that hasn't changed is thetrue meaning of Christmas.
I'll see you next time.
Merry Christmas.

- Hey everyone, Mia here.
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting
to open one present beforeChristmas on Christmas Eve,
and also getting to go tothe Christmas Eve service
at church to celebrate Jesus, which is what this holiday
is all about.

- Christmas is one of myfavorite times of the year.
I have a lot of differenttraditions that I love doing,
like making Christmascookies with my sisters,
decorate the Christmas tree, and watching holiday movies.
My favorite is gettingpeppermint milkshakes
and driving around the city,
and looking at all the Christmas lights.
It's a great time to spend with family,
and it gets me in the holiday spirit.
On top of that, who doesn'tlove a good milkshake?
(slurping) Merry Christmas.
(digital whooshing)
- Hey, "Superbook Show",Morgan and Clarence here again.
One of our favorite Christmas traditions
has to be, for Clarence, running through all
of the presents andwrapping paper that ensue
right after Christmas morning.
That's his absolute favorite thing
and I have so many cute videosof him just disappearing
right into the wrapping paper.
And my favorite Christmastradition would have
to be eating Chinesefood on Christmas day.
One of my family'sfavorite Christmas movies
is "The Christmas Story",and they do it in that movie,
and ever since we've seen the movie,
we've just been doing thatfor as long as I can remember.
Have a happy Christmas.

("Hark! The Herald Angels Sing")
- We hope you enjoyed hearing about some
of the special ways we celebrate Christmas
with our families.
However, it is alwaysimportant to remember
that beyond the traditions, the lights,
and the presents under the tree,
the reason we celebrateChristmas is because
of the birth of Jesus.
"And the angel said tothem, 'Do not be afraid.
"'See, I give you good news of great joy
"'which is for all people.
"'Today, one who saves from the punishment
"'of sin was born in the city of David.
"'He is Christ the Lord.'"
Luke 2:10, 11.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
