We here at The Superbookshow love this time of year
and all of the fun holiday traditions
that come along with it.
My favorite family holiday tradition
is when we all put onour Christmas pajamas
and we watch our favorite home videos
from Christmas past, fun, right?
Now enjoy the Superbook show hosts
and their favorite holiday traditions.

- Hey, super fans.
It's Josh.
And this is my little sister.
- Deanna.
And we're here to share with you
some of our favorite Christmas traditions.
- So one of the things that we like to do
is go to our church's candlelightservice on Christmas Eve.
Basically, we all come together
and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
And one of the uniquethings that we like to do
as a family is we liketo open our presents up
at 12 midnight Christmas dayinstead of Christmas morning.
It's really fun to justsit around the house
hanging out with each other
and just celebrating thebirth of Jesus Christ,
so that once the clock strikes 12,
we're ready to open presents.
- Hey everyone.
So my favorite Christmastradition is going
to a drive-through light show.
So every year my family and I,
we make hot chocolate and popcorn,
and we drive down to this garden.
And the garden is filled
with a bunch of super pretty lights,
and there's a pathway in the middle
for the cars to drive through.
So we turn our radio to theChristmas music station,
and we just listen to Christmas music
and talk and look atall the gorgeous lights.
And it is just such a fun experience.
It's for sure my absolute favorite
part of the Christmas season.
- Merry Christmas, everyone, it's Sophia.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions
is traveling to my Sitty's house,
which means grandma in Arabic.
- Merry Christmas, everyone.
- And waking up on Christmas morning
to the smell of cinnamon rolls
shaped in a Christmastree, it's super yummy.
Obviously, it's really exciting
to open our presentsas well with my family.
And I really enjoy spendingquality time with them as well.
I really hope you have a wonderful,
blessed Christmas with your family.
And I hope you enjoy
all the Christmas traditions that you do.
I love you so much, andI'll see you next time, bye.
- One of my favorite Christmas traditions
is waking up really early with my sister,
and going downstairs andmaking a huge breakfast
for my grandma and my parents.
So we make biscuits, pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage,
literally anything you canthink of for breakfast.
And then we just allsit together and we eat.
And then we go into our Christmas room.
Yes, we have a roomdedicated to Christmas.
And then we open our presents.
I love the tradition so muchbecause one, I love to eat.
And then two, we just gointo the Christmas room
and we just rip open some wrapping paper.
It's a nice time to have somebonding time with your family.
- Hi, I'm Mollyjean, and my favorite
Christmas tradition isthe Christmas pickle.
It's when one of your family members hides
a pickle ornament in yourChristmas tree on Christmas Eve.
And on Christmas morning, the first person
that finds this picklegets a special surprise.
- One of my favorite Christmas traditions
was always decorating the Christmas tree.
We would have our wholefamily around, pets included,
and my mom would sit on the couch
and she'd unwrap theornaments and hand them
to us and kind of tellus where to put them,
but not really, we hadto be creative, right?
My dad would do the lights.
And it would take a while, but that's okay, you know?
'Cause it was fun, and allof the pets were around,
and sometimes we put littlelike bows on their collars
or something and try to take pictures.
You know, pets will onlystay still for so long.
But he seems comfortable, right buddy?

- Hey guys, it's Johnfrom The Superbook Show,
and one of my favoritepersonal family traditions
that my family does rightaround Christmas time
is we go on December 24th, Christmas Eve,
after we go to church, maybe have some dinner,
see some friends for alittle bit of a celebration,
we all go under the tree,
we grab one present each and we open 'em.
It doesn't sound like anything crazy,
but it just helps withlike the anticipation
that Christmas day has, all the presents,
all the food, all the celebration.
Because I've been doingit since I was little.
And it's one of the mostconsistent traditions we do,
and my personal favorite.
And I think it's everybody'sfavorite in the family.
So yeah, that's why it's oneof my absolute favorites.
(upbeat music)
