(whip swishing)

- Time management? You'vebeen late before, too, right?

- Yes. But not every day this week.

- I just don't have enough time in the day

to get everything done.

- So you need more than anybody else?

- Yes.

- No, you don't.

You just need to manageyour time like Jesus did.

- Like Jesus?

How did Jesus manage his time?

Or, wait, couldn't he just make more time?

- He could, but he didn't.

- Okay. So how wouldJesus manage my schedule?

I have chores in the morning,

chores at night, religion classes,

midday and night school,

soccer practice, soccer coaching.

I have to finish building my tree house

and start my outhouse.

I have activism, directivism.

- Okay, I get it.

You're busy.

- (exhales sharply) That's anunderstatement of a century.

- But, Jesus was even busier.

- Hmm.

coming to see him for healingand to hear his preaching.

- Crowds?

- Crowds.

- Okay. So how did he handle it?

- The Bible says Jesuswould often slip away

to the wilderness and pray by himself.

(Jesus praying)

Instead of just being busy, which a lot of us are,

Jesus started every day in prayer.

Jesus prioritized spending time with God.

- Priorities.

I thought all these things were important.

- That's the problem.

- I thought time was the problem.

- You have to learnwhat's important to God.

That's the way Jesus lived.

- Okay.

So, I gotta remember thatin all my activities,

God comes first.

- Never be too busy to spendtime with God in prayer

or reading your Bible on a daily basis.

Manage your time.

You can't let your time manage you.

- Ooh. Okay.

That's cool. I'llremember that from now on.
