IS THE HOLY SPIRIT A PERSON LIKE JESUS WAS? IF OUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN, WHY DO WE SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF SINS COMMITTED BY ANCESTORS 3 AND 4 GENERATIONS PAST? Read Transcript

- Time for some questions.

You ready?- Let's go with questions.

- Okay, this is from Cynthia who says,

"Hi, Pat, I've always beentold that the only word that

"every nation in the worldspeaks the same is Hallelujah.

"That brings a question to my mind.

"I we're all from differentnations and all speak

"different languages, how dowe communicate in heaven?"

- Well, we communicate in herald heaven.

It's deep calls underdeep, and I think we think

and God can translatethe thought into action.

So you know, when youtalk about space travel,

the fastest way of getting someplace

from one place to theother is to think about it.

And we can think andin the presence of God

you don't need any other language.

But Hallel means praise and Yehweh,

Yehweh is the name for God,

and Hallel is praise to God.

Hallelujah, I'm not sureeverybody all over the world

speaks hallelujah, but it'sa nice thing to think of.

I don't know where yougot that information

but I've never heard itexactly in those terms.

But we communicate deep calls unto deep.

That's how you communicate in the spirit.

All right?

- So Annie asks, "Isthe Holy Spirit a person

"like Jesus was?"

- Well, I've written a book(chuckling) a whole book

on the Holy Spirit that'sabout, it's gonna be released

that's coming out in thefall, via Regnery and also,

what were the other?

Salem.

And I, you know, theHoly Spirit is a Person.

It's a creative being but I can't go

into all that, right now.

But I believe that the Yehweh,Yehweh in the Old Testament

was actually the Holy Spirit.

I, I've go through the whole Bible to talk

about what the Holy Spirit does.

But yes, He is a Person.

And there, the Father, theSon, and the Holy Spirit.

All right.- And that book's

coming out in the fall, so watch for it.

It's gonna be great.

This is Alexis who says,"My mom passed away

"when I was 10 from an overdose.

"I'm 25 now and havebeen in and out of jail

"and using drugs for the past few years.

"I've always had issuesbelieving in God 100%

"but I gave it a try and tried to pray

"and call out to Him, butI never felt anything.

"What do I have to do to get that feeling

"everyone gets and havea relationship with God?"

- The question you'relooking at is your own life

and you say, "God, Iask You to forgive me."

And look, go throughthe list of the stuff.

You're talkin' about drugs, you're talking

about all things that youand your mother have done.

You think about animosityyou have in your heart.

When you stand praying, if you have

ought against any, forgive.

And so that's what you needto do is clear the deck.

And then, you know, ask God to fill you.

You know, just like you empty yourself

of the stuff that's there.

Then you open yourself and say,

"God, come into my heart and fill me."

All right?

- This is Donna who says,"If our sins are forgiven,

"why do we suffer the consequences of sins

"committed by ancestors threeand four generations past?"

- Well that's true, yes and no.

But what do we have gotteninto recently is something

called epigenetics and what is done

you can affect the lifeof your unborn child

by the way you live.

So that's not a sin fromGod, it's what you do.

And that's just theway the world's set up.

If I have righteous parents and they leave

a heritage to me, I inherit that.

If you have a bunch of criminalsthat's in your background,

you're gonna inherit that, like it or not.

That isn't God, that's just the way it is.
