(triumphant music)

- Well, welcome folksto this special edition

of the 700 Club.

Vox populi, the voice of the people.

Today is the day we featureyour voicemail questions

on the air throughout our program.

So get ready for four riveting rounds

of your questions and, hopefully, honest answers.

So let's get started with round one.

So Wendy's here with us,

who's our first caller?

- Our first caller is Sally

from Kansas City, Kansas.

Go ahead Sally.

- [Sally] I'm calling about my marriage.

I've been with myhusband for over a decade

and we've only had marital relations three

or four times.

He's had two affairs on me that I know of

and I'm struggling to divorce.

Any biblical guidance you can give me?

Thank you.

- I think the ground for divorce

in the Bible is unfaithfulness,

but you have, you know, the Catholics used

to give a divorce on accountof lack of consortium

and it's unlikely that you're marriage

has really been consummated.

- She said they've been married

a dozen years and they've only

had marital relations afew times in a dozen years.

- Well, I think you reallydon't have a marriage,

so in my opinion, thatmarriage doesn't exist,

so I think you have aground for an annulment

and it's not a divorce, it's an annulment.

I just don't think it, you know, it counts

in my opinion, but, you know,

some may disagree with me,

but I'm pretty open towhat I believe, all right.

- I wouldn't waste anotheryear on that marriage.

- I'm sure you wouldn't, all right.

- All right, here's Andyfrom Angola, Delaware.

- [Andy] I want to knowhow many different kinds

of angels are there andwhat are their names.

- I'm not gonna go into all the names

of all the angels, but Michael is the big,

there are angels and there are archangels,

so there's a hierarchy of angels

and some are warrior angels,

some look after certain countries,

some are messenger angels,

Raphael, for example, came to bring

the good news of the Savior.

Michael is the defenderof the people of Israel

and so there are various angels.

I can't name them all because I don't know

what they are, but there'sa hierarchy of angels

with the big ones and thelittle ones underneath.

- And they have definitelyimportant roles.

- Well, they do have,

they're messengers,they're ministers of God

to bring tide, the whole idea of angelus

is good tidings and they bring messages,

so they're intermediaries from God to man,

but the last thing we'vegot to be careful about

is we don't worship angels.

The Bible is very explicit about that.

We are to worship God, to worship Jesus,

but not angels, all right.

- Do you recall any time you've received

a message from an angel?

- I've had encounters frequently

with demonic spirits,but I don't remember,

I mean, I talk to the Lord.

- [Wendy] You talk to the Lord, yeah.

- And I'm talking about Jesus

and I'm receiving messages

from the Holy Spirit,

but I don't recall in my own personal life

ever having had a messagefrom an angel, all right.

- All right, well here's Arlene

from my home town,Charleston, West Virginia.

- [Arlene] I would like for Pat

to tell the name of the medicine

that he takes for his memory

and please have him to spell the word out.

God bless you and thank you.

- So what do you take for your memory?

She would like to have a better memory.

She wants you to tell the name

of the medicine and spell it out.

- Well, I've gone onto this Prevagen

and it works pretty well.

I used to take something called Cognitex.

It was put out by Life Extension.

It was excellent.

- But Prevagen is what

you're taking right now.

- The biggest thing with your mind

is you need to have all the things going

at the same time and so it's exercise,

it's proper diet.

I take a lot of vitamins

and that kind of thing

and I think all of together,

but sleep is importantand exercise is important

and more than anything,

a merry heart doeth good like medicine.

- Amen, Prevagen, I can't spell it,

but Prevagen, right?

- [Pat] That's the onethe advertise so much.

- All right, here's Michaelfrom Richmond, Virginia.

- [Michael] In the Bible, God tells us

that we should love our enemies,

but my question is that since God

is expecting us to do that,

does God love his number one enemy,

which would be Satan?

- That was hard to understand.

In the Bible, God tells us

that we should love our enemies

and I guess my question is that since God

is expecting us to do that,

does God love his numberone enemy, which is Satan?

- Well, God is infinite and Satan

was, he was the anointed cherub

that covered the very holiness of God.

He was in the very presence of God

and he led a revolt against God

and the greatest sin was saying

I can do it my way.

That's the greatest sin, it was prized,

that I can run heaven better than God can.

So he led a revolt against God.

So does God love his enemy.

God is gonna destroythat particular person.

He's got to be destroyed.

But God is sovereign.

You and I are not sovereign,

so we're told how tolive in a confined space

with each other andwe're to love our enemies

here on earth, but we don't have enemies

who have led a revoltagainst God, all right.

- Amen, amen.

All right, here's Dave from Los Angeles

with this question for Pat.

- [Dave] Hello Pat.

I have heard you mention an impending war

in the Middle East as outlined

in Ezekiel 38 and 39.

This would be a Muslim coalition led

against Israel by several nations.

One of those nations is Turkey.

The United States maintainsan air base in Turkey.

What, then, are the implications

of Turkey moving against Israel,

which is our ally and theUnited States maintaining

an air base in that nation?

Thank you very much, Pat, for your answer.

- Well, Base Incirlik,I believe, in Turkey

and I mentioned, as I recall

I was talking to President Trump

about the thought that we might have

to take that thing out of there

because what we should have done

a long time ago is recognize the Kurds,

the Kurdish station, Kurdish nation

and that air base is tough luck.

I mean, if we had to walk away from it,

I mean, we could build another one

and I think that wasthe President's thought.

So we've got an air basein Turkey, so big deal.

- So it wouldn't keepTurkey from doing anything.

- No, it wouldn'tprevent the United States

from doing somethingin relation to Turkey.

But when this last war is gonna come,

it's not gonna be U.S.

The U.S. is gonna be, the young lives

of Tarshish are gonna look up

and say what are you doing,

but we're not gonna beinvolved in the war.

It's gonna be God himself

that's gonna move against that coalition

and he, God is going totake charge of that one,

so I wouldn't worrytoo much about Incirlik

in Turkey, all right.

- All right, well, here's a question

from Christiana from Newark, New Jersey.

- [Christiana] My questionis how do you know

when God is speaking to you

and how do you feel it?

I will be praying and asking for guidance,

but not sure what I should be looking for,

some kind of sign, voice, et cetera.

- The Bible says thosewho have reason of use

have the senses exercised

to determine what's good and evil.

It's practice.

You really have to practice.

You have to be listening to God.

You have to shut out the other stuff

because there are all kinds of voices

in the world.

Your own mind, the world of the flesh

and the devil, everything'sworking against you.

So you have to get your mind open to God

and then God will speak to you, all right.

- All right, here's a question from Dean

from Abilene, Texas.

- [Dean] Hello, Pat.

I try to watch you every day

and I was wondering if you could explain

what Jesus meant when hesaid the first shall be last

and the last shall be first?

Thank you, I hope I hear from you.

- I think he's talking about humility

and he says, you know, you need

to be humble before him,

but he's talking about when you come into

a feast, for example, don'ttake the highest place,

sit lower and then God will lift you up

and I believe he saidwe're supposed to be humble

and I think the whole idea is those

who are lesser will be elevated

in the kingdom of God.

You know the humble shall rule the earth

and that's the idea.

- The opposite the wayit is here on earth.

- It'll be reversed fromwhat we've got now, okay.

- Amen, all right, here'sa viewer from, excuse me,

from Ellijay, Georgia.

- [Viewer] Is giving to an animal shelter

a form of tithing in God's eyes?

Thank you.

- Look, the tithe is giving

from your resources to the work of God

and the church of God is large now.

It's not just in my opinion

a local congregation.

There are people doing television

and radio ministries

that are bringing the gospel.

There are humanitarian,

there are educational organizations.

The body of Christ is huge.

So a tithe to any of those operations

to my way of thinking is part

of what the biblicalmandate is, all right.

- Dogs don't preach.

- [Pat] Huh?

- Dogs don't preach.

(both laughing)

All right, here's Jessica

from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

- [Jessica] Pat, I'm calling on behalf

of my grandma, who wants to know how many

of your kids and grandkids are helping out

on the 700 Club Show?

- On behalf of her grandma,

who wants to know howmany of your children

and grandchildren helpout on the 700 Club?

- Well, my son Gordon is in charge of,

he's the CEO now of CBN

and so he's in charge of all of it really.

- [Wendy] And he hosts on Fridays.

- He hosts occasionally.

He's the only one, butI've got a whole bunch.

- [Wendy] And then yourgranddaughter Abby.

- Well, Abby's one of our reporters.

She's up in Washington, Abigail Robertson.

She does a terrific job,

she's a granddaughter,

but other than that, that's just two of them,

but I've got, I've got19 great-grandchildren

and it's a growing family.

I've got another inthe hopper so to speak,

so I'll have 20.

- Oh, my gosh, 20 great-grandchildren.

- Great-grandchildren, 14 grandchildren.

- [Wendy] Can youremember all their names?

- No.

- (laughing) At least you're honest.

- If I have to sit down,I remember most of them,

but don't ask me to do it on television.

- Okay, we'll not ask you right now.

All right, here's Davefrom Pensacola, Florida

with this question for Pat.

- [Dave] Pat, I understand that you make

an awesome smoothie.

What is your recipe?

- You make an awesome smoothie.

He wants the recipe.- Well, I'll tell you what.

It's coming out, I've got, Pat's Shake

was enormously popular

and I'm trying to get the recipe again

because I lost it and somebody's gonna see

what we can do and Imay bring it up again,

but it was very good,

but I don't have that right in front of me

right this second.

- I remember the strawberries,

you had strawberries in it and...

- I have a protein powder

and when it was done,

you see this stuff Ensurethat they talk about so much.

Mine was much better tasting

and it was much better.

Actually I'm thinking ofbringing it back out again

because there was a dispute,

vitamin shops and all thepeople that do vitamins,

they had a lawsuit against

the people who were putting my shake out

and so it was in the marketplace

and it was very delicious.

It was the best on the market.

- Wow, wow, okay, well, let's hope it comes back.

All right, here's Dianefrom Coushatta, Louisiana.

- [Diane] I've been going before

the throne of God every day praying

that God would restore my vision.

The doctor said that there's no more hope,

but I'm not giving up.

I've watched your show,

I participate in the prayer section

of the show.

Please tell me what I'mdoing or saying wrong

that God would not hear and answer

my prayer for healing.

- They asked just whatare you doing wrong.

You know, the Bible sayswhen you stay in praying,

if you have ought against any,

forgive that your HeavenlyFather might forgive you,

so that's the first thingyou've got to remember.

Do you have any resentmentagainst anybody?

Resentment against your mother

or against your brother, against your employer,

against your spouse, againstone of your children.

Is there anybody that, that's the thing

that will hurt you.

The other thing is some peopleactually enjoy being sick.

You know, I know that sounds weird,

but if you have an excuse, well, I'd like

to do that, but I don'thave the health to do it,

I'm not strong enough to do it.

So look after me 'causeI'm a little too weak.

I mean, it's a way of getting attention,

so cleanse your mind of all that

and then say God, in the name of Jesus,

I receive this and then declare,

a man shall eat good throughthe fruit of his lips,

speak the fact that I am healed.

Stop asking and startdeclaring that it is done.

All things that is possibleto him that believes.

That's what the Bible says,

all right, next question.

- Amen, don't give up, Dianne.

Healing's on the way.

- Absolutely, don't give up.

Don't quit, yeah.

- Amen, all right, here'sJessie from Austin, Texas.

- [Jessie] My questionis do animals have souls?

Have a good day.

(both laughing)

- The Bible says thesoul of the man goes up,

the soul of the beastgoes into the ground.

I don't think animals have souls, frankly.

They're intelligent.

I mean, you know, I've trained dogs

and dogs have a real sense.

They can sense things, they're just wonderful.

And you look at crows, they're really smart.

Crows are smarter than dogs.

- And they have personalities for sure.

- Terrific personalities,of course they do,

but in terms of havingan immortal destiny,

they don't have to my knowledge,

they don't have that, all right.

- All right, well up next,

we've got round two of ourspecial voicemail edition

of "Your Questions,Honest Answers" from Pat,

so stay tuned, we will be right back.

(upbeat music)

Welcome back to the 700 Club

and a special edition of yourvoicemail question for Pat.

We're gonna pick up oursecond phase here now

with Mojo and he's from Norfolk, Virginia.

- [Mojo] What's up, Pat?

This is Mojo.

You said in the past that you were

a big gambler.

So what's the most you ever lost gambling?

- Let me talk about gambling.

I mean if you could believe,

I've been in a pokergame praying to the Lord

that he would help me tofill an inside straight.

I mean, it's crazy.

And, you know, the Biblesay thou shalt not tempt

the Lord thy God andthat's what's doing it.

You're praying that you'll draw a heart

and have a flush or you're praying

you'll hit an inside straight

or your praying that the Roulette wheel

will come off or you're praying

that you'll hit the lottery

and so forth.

There's a way of getting extra money

and that is through interest and increase

and if you let the law of use work,

and the exponential curve,

a lot of big money will come to you,

but gambling isn't the way to go

and I want to tell you it is an addiction

and it is wrong and I know,

you know, you can play around

with slot machines and everything else,

but ultimately, you're tempting God

and I do not advise it anyway

and I do not gamble.

I do invest in the stock market,

but that isn't gambling.

It's intelligent investing,

which is a different matter.

I mean, you can takechances and, you know,

the definition in Hebrew I understand

of an entrepreneur issomebody who takes chances

and so, you know-

- Intelligent chances.

- You accept risk and it's belief,

you believe that peopleare telling the truth

and that's part of life,

but gambling is an addiction.

I mean it really is an addiction

and people are destroyed by it.

- All right, good advice.

Here's Mildred fromPittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

- [Mildred] I have a question

about the temple curtain that was ripped

when Jesus died on the cross.

When it ripped, did the Jews continue

to worship in the temple?

Did they throw in a new curtain?

I just wondered becausenow that it was open,

people could see into the holy of holies.

Hope you can answer myquestion. Thank you.

- The thing of it is, it wasripped from top to bottom,

so it came from heaven

and that curtain was ripped,

which signified that the way

into the holy of holies was open

for the average believer

because of the blood of Christ.

But the temple was torn down

and they haven't rebuilt the temple.

They don't have a temple anymore

and so that who actualthing is not available.

There's no temple.

But in terms of, we are the temple of God,

the people are God are the house of God

and the church is the fulfillment of,

we are the body of Christ

and we are, our bodies are a temple,

but the temple with the curtain

and all the rest of it is not there,

but we have access into the holy of holies

through the blood of Jesus Christ.

That's what the Bible says, all right.

- Amen, beautiful, all right.

Here's Mick from Ontario.

- [Mick] I was reading in the Bible

about sexual sin and there's all kinds

of sexual sin.

Is masturbation a sin?

- Look, I think, you know,

there's a guy named Onanyou probably read about

in the Bible,

who quote scatteredhis seed on the ground.

He was supposed to havesex with is brother's wife,

the brother was dead and he didn't want

to give an heir to the child

so he had sex and thenquote scattered his sin

on the ground and God killed him.

I mean, that was not a good thing.

The other thing is a type of fantasy

and the Bible isn'treally expressive about it

except I just would say this

that if people fantasizewith that kind of stuff,

they're self-pleasuring, they will lose

the chance to have the real intimacy

in an appropriaterelationship and marriage

and I think that's thedanger of this whole thing.

First, it's like fantasizing,

then you're gonna watch pornography

and your mind is going to go,

at that point you're goingto be involved essentially

in spiritual adultery

and then that will be a sin,

but at the same time,

you will find yourself,

you are unable to consummate

in a successful marriage

and that's what's really important

and that's the danger of this stuff, okay.

- All right, thanks Pat.

Here's Tammy from Saginaw, Michigan.

- [Tammy] I've been dealingwith spiritual warfare

for about four or five years now

and I was wondering if Pat could get into

how we can end spiritualwarfare upon myself.

- Look, spiritual warfare,

you're up against the satanic forces,

so you're being attacked.

Let me say the way to do it Satan,

I bind you and the forces of evil

in the name of Jesus

and Jesus is more powerful

than all the devils in the world,

so in his name, you bind Satan.

Satan, I bind you and the forces of evil

and I command you to leave me alone.

And the devils have to obey

when it's in the voice of Jesus, you know.

You remember that guy that said, you know,

Paul we know and Jesus we know

and who are you?

So make sure when you do all this

that you've got the armor of God,

that you have thebreastplate of righteousness.

That's the important thing

that you have, thatyou're guarded with truth

and if you've got lies in your heart

and if you've got sin in your life,

then you won't be able

to withstand Satan because he knows

the enemy, the sore points,

it'll kind right at him.

So make sure your own life is cleaned up

before you start rebuking Satan,

but you have the authorityin the name of Jesus

to do that, all right.

- And didn't Jesus saywe have the authority

to trample upon all evil, not some, right.

- Serpents and scorpionsand nothing, that's right,

shall hurt you, absolutelywe've got the authority.

He said all power in heaven and earth

is given unto me.

Go ye therefore.

He gave us the authority.

But at the same time, if we surrender

the authority to Satan,

if we give over a partof our lives to Satan,

then we'll have a hardtime rebuking him, okay.

- Amen.- All right.

- All right, here'sShanika from New York City.

- [Shanika] I have a desire to be married

and I'm now 43 years old.

I'm not married yet, don't have any children,

but I really want this.

How do I know if this is the will of God

for me to have it?

I believe he said he'd give me the desires

of my heart, but I'm starting to wonder.

- [Pat] Shanika wants children.

- Shanika wants to be married.

She's 43 years old.

- Oh, she's not married.

- She would also like to have children.

I really think I can answer this one.

- All right.

- Shanika, you're very young, you're 43.

I didn't get marriedfor the very first time

until I was 54.

My sister had her first baby at 41,

her second baby at 43, they're gorgeous.

You still have time.

If it's the desire of your heart

to be married, God put that desire there.

So don't give up. I meanthe best is yet to come,

just keep believing.

Keep enjoying singleness.

Singleness is a gift, marriage is a gift,

so enjoy where you are right now,

but keep praying.

I never stopped praying.

I never stopped believing

and now I'm happily married.

- But you're not having children

because there is acertain thing about eggs.

- [Wendy] Right, yeah, ifshe wants to have children.

- There's comes a timewhere you don't have

any more ability to haveyour own children, all right.

But Wendy's a prime example.

She's happily married, I was involved

in a beautiful wedding

and we're just very happy for her.

All right, let's go to the next one.

- All right, here'sGreg from Willard, Ohio.

- [Greg] Hi, my name is Greg.

I'm wondering what the 700 Club,

how they got their name, what does it stand for?

Thanks, bye.

- [Wendy] That was hi, my name is Greg.

I'm wondering what the 700 Club,

how they got their name.

- Oh, okay, the name.

In the early days, way, way, way back when,

I needed a little bit of money

to help run CBN and I asked for 700 people

to give $10 a month

and the first telethon we had 330,

so it'd be the 330 Club.

But the 700 Club sort of sounded like 007,

it sounded like somethingthat was kind of hip

and when we had, theanointing of God came out,

a great power of God, we had a revival

of extraordinary magnitudeand it was during

a 700 Club telethon,

but the power of God was so strong

that after a year or sowe decided we'd keep going

and we'd have a program using that name.

So when it started it was 700 people

giving $10 a month, thatwas the total budget

in those days of CBN, all right.

- 300 Club just doesn'thave that same ring at all.

All right, here's a question from Karen.

She's from Newtown, North Carolina.

- [Karen] I have a form of blood cancer,

although I totally believe

that God can heal miraculously.

I also have read about herbal products

that do help a cure for cancer.

So my question is if Itried to use these products,

is that saying that Idon't really trust God

to totally heal me?

I sure enjoy the program

and the questions

and the whole thing.

- Look, you do what God shows you to do.

You know, somebody asked me a question

the other day about chemotherapy

and from what I've seen, chemo

in its earlier form killed everything,

it kills cells, itkilled the cancer cells,

but it also took away healthy cells

and left people withoutthe will to resist.

I think there are a number now of remedies

that are holistic and there people

who know what they're talking about,

who have, well there's diet

and various other things about cancer.

I don't think it's lacking in faith

to try to get some sort of a help.

I believe in medicine.

I think medicine is a gift from God

and at Regent University we have

a health sciences program

and we also have a nursing.

I think, I just can't tell you how much

I appreciate that God has given us,

but at the same time,

I don't think it's lacking in faith.

But some people have faith,

for example, for cancer,I mean they just can,

because God's power is so strong,

with God all things are possible.

You know, and you knowthe man said to Jesus,

I believe health that on my unbelief

and Jesus said all things are possible

to him who believes

and that includes a deliverancefrom cancer, all right.

- Amen.

All right, here's Philfrom Baltimore, Maryland

with this question.

- [Phil] My question is why are the Jews

the chosen people of God when most of them

do not believe Jesus is the Son of God?

Thank you.

- Well, they were chosen,

the Lord had to narrow things down.

He had all these people in the world

and he had to narrow the revelation down.

He shows one man who was Abraham

and he said through your seed,

all the nations of theearth will be blessed

and so then there wasAbraham, Isaac and Jacob

and then through themthe 12 tribes of Israel

and these were the chosen one to whom

the revelation of God, we give,

they receive the oracles of God.

In the Bible we've got the Old Testament

and the New Testamentwith the one exception

of the book of Luke were written by Jews,

every single one.

The Apostle Paul was Jewish.

All of them were Jewish.

And Moses was Jew, these were all Jews.

And God gave the revelation of his Son,

some of it he had to narrow it down

and this was the place that there

was a revelation.

So you say they're the chosen people,

but they have sufferedan unbelievable torture.

But one of the things they did,

yes, they rejected Jesus andthey said before Pilates,

they said we have no king but Caesar.

Well, Caesar has dealt veryharshly with the Jewish people.

Over the years there has been

the horrors of the Holocaust

and other things have happened

that they just break your heart.

And right now the Jewish people

are coming back into their own,

they're coming back into the land

and God is prospering Israelin a way that's unbelievable

and so they're supposed to be

a blessing in the midst of the earth

and they are

and so I know they don't believe in Jesus.

Well, I think we're seeing Messianic Jews

because the Bible says they're going

to come back to the Lord

and when they do, it'llbe like life on the dead

and so I see more and more

of what they call Messianic Jews.

It is beautiful to talk to them,

to see the faith that's there

and God is restoring, in my opinion,

the Jewish people and Paul said

when that happens, it's gonna be

like the resurrection.

It's gonna be life from the dead

and it is happening in ourown eyes today, all right.

- Very exciting.

Awesome.

Okay, here's Sonia from Tamarac, Florida.

- [Sonia] I love the 700 Club

and I watch it every day,

but I've been wonderingabout your dog, Blue.

Whatever happened to him?

Does he ride his horses like he used to

and I'm just curious abouthis home life, I guess.

- Pat, I think that actually was Linda

from Dayton, Ohio.

And she wants to knowabout your dog, Blue.

Whatever happened to Blue?

- Blue developed a, he was,

they bred those Dobermans so finely

and he developed a condition

and he got so paralyzedthat he could hardly walk

and I think they had to put him down.

I gave him away, you know.

They're supposed to be attached to you,

but these women had brought him up

as a little puppy and hejust responded to women.

I said, look, I'm givingyou all this intention,

I'm training you andyou still don't love me,

so I'm gonna give you away,

so I gave him away.

But I had a doberman named,

well, whatever his name was

and he was an incredible dog

and he just loved me

and I just was so close to him.

But Blue developed,

they breed these, he was beautiful,

absolutely magnificent, but they bred him so fine

that they're subject tothis arthritic disease.

- Yeah, we have an old beagle.

The brother died a couple of months ago.

We have the sister still

and she's got a lot of health issues

and it's so hard to know when

you know, do you put them down.

- Well, the time is comingwhen you have to do it,

they lose continence andthey can't move around

and so forth.

It's, they're like membersof the family, but so much.

- All right, so Blue, now you know.

Well, still do come.

Did you leave a voicemail for Pat?

If so, your question could be next,

so stay tuned for round three after this.

- Welcome back to the 700 Club.

President Biden is set to announce today

he will withdraw all UStroops from Afghanistan

by September 11, the 20th anniversary

of the 911 terrorist attacks

that were coordinated from that country,

the White House making it clear

the President doesn't think maintaining

the US military presence there

is the right way to go.

- I will say that thePresident has been consistent

in his view that there's not

a military solution to Afghanistan,

that we have been there far too long.

- That decision was quickly criticized

by Republicans and some Democrats

with Senator Mitch McConnellcalling it a retreat

and Lindsay Graham saying it is a disaster

in the making.

Some members of both parties do support

the President's move.

Biden is also urging RussianPresident Vladmir Putin

Tuesday to deescalate tensions,

following a Russian military buildup

on the border with Ukraine.

The President's call with Putin came

as the top US diplomat

and the leader of NATO condemned

the recent massing of thousands

of Russian troops.

The White House said the President

emphasized the US's unwavering commitment

to Ukraine sovereignty.

Biden also proposed a summit with Putin

in a third country in the months ahead.

Prosecutors expectedto decide today whether

to charge the white formerpolice officer, Kim Potter,

who shot and killed ablack man, Daunte Wright,

during a traffic stopin Minneapolis Sunday

in a suburb there.

Kim Potter is a 26-year veteran

of the force and she,

as well as Chief TimGannon resigned Tuesday.

Gannon said he believesPotter accidentally grabbed

her pistol when she was trying to pull

out her taser.

The shooting sparked protests

with more unrest for thethird straight night Tuesday.

Police arrested about60 people for rioting

and criminal behavior.

A Centers for Disease Control committee

is scheduled to hold an emergency meeting

on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine today

as all 50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico

have temporarily stoppedtheir appointments

for the vaccine.

It's based on a government recommendation

for a pause to investigate reports

of rare, but potentiallydangerous blood clots

in six women betweenthe ages of 18 and 48.

- This is a really rare event.

There have six, out ofthe 6.85 million doses,

which is less then one in a million.

- The pause is only expected to last

a matter of days.

The White House says it will not have

a significant impact on

the administration's vaccination plan.

- Welcome back to the 700 Club

and round three of our special edition

of your voicemail questionsand Pat's honest answers.

We being with Gina.

She's from Winnsboro, Texas.

- [Gina] I was wondering if you knew

why certain books ofthe Bible were left out?

That's my question. Thank you.

- Okay, Gina, I don't knowif they were left out.

You know, the Jewish people had a Bible

that they used from the Old Testament

and I don't know if that was called

the textus receptus, but they had established

the canon of the OldTestament way back when

and there were a group of Greek scholars

that put together the Greek version

of the Old Testament and that's the one

that was used by theOld Testament writers.

But St. Augustine, the others,

they had a counsel to determine what

they considered the authentic books.

They tried to get the New Testament book

as close to the original,

the so-called autographs

and as far as I know, they've succeeded.

So there was some otherbooks in the pseudepigrapha

they called them and the apocrypha

and so forth that just were not considered

by the Jews or the Christian churches

as worthy of being including in the canon,

so they're not in there, bottom line, okay.

- All right, well, here'sDwayne from Kissimee, Florida

with this question.

- [Dwayne] Pat, if there are other beings

in the universe, do you think

they'd be prone to sin?

- Look, I don't thereare any other beings.

I remember talking to the expert we've got

at Regent Universityabout this whole thing.

I said, "What do you think about this?"

He said, "Well, there seems to be

when there's an increasein psychic activity,

you have a whole lotof sightings of people

who were seeing aliens and so forth.

Do you realize from the nearest star,

the nearest star to come to earth,

you know how long it would take?

10,000 years at the speed of light.

People are not traveling,

you're not having space travelers,

they're just not coming about.

This universe, this worldthat we are in is unique.

God set this planet we're on

as a place that he was going

to show forth his power through all

of the ages and Jesus Christ was

the Son of God and is the Son of God

and the Bible says thatit will please the Lord

that in him should all the fullness dwell

and to reconcile all things to himself,

both in heaven and earth.

So, the stage for God's redemption

for the universe was here.

The universe is vast,

let me tell you, it is huge.

And this planet we're on

is part of a small solar system

and part of a small galaxy,

the Milky Way galaxy and part

of the spiral nebulae, whichis one small part of space.

Space is enormous,

but this world is where God was doing

what was being done.

So I think people spend their time talking

about aliens from space,

there aren't any.

They do not exist and thereis no life anyplace else.

- But there are asteroids.

I've been reading your book again,

"The End of the Ages."

- Oh, yeah, well asteroids, yeah.

- This is such a great novel.

I was looking for some books to give

to my mother-in-law to read

and I found it and I thought

it's been a long time since I read it,

I can't put it down again.

It's so well written, it's so good.

- I'm asking a famous film producer

if maybe we can make a movie out of it.

- I said that to somebody,

I said, "I can't believe this has not been

a movie yet."

- We're working on thatas a matter of fact.

- That's great, "End of the Age,"

Pat's first novel.

- I asked what's gonna happen next,

he said the Lord said I told you,

you wrote it down in a book.

I said okay, there.

If you want to know what's gonna happen,

it's in the book and it's called

"The End of the Age,"all right, what else?

- All right, here's a question from Donna

and she's from Ontario, Lindsay, Ontario.

- [Donna] Hi, Pat.

It says in Matthew 24:36 that no one knows

the day nor the hour of my return,

not even Jesus or the angels.

If Jesus and God are one,

then why doesn't Jesusknow when he will return?

- There's a trinity, there's a Father,

there's a Son and there's a Holy Spirit

and Jesus is the Son of God

and while he was here on earth,

I think eternally he knows exactly,

but he said while I'mhere on earth as a man,

I don't know when my secondcoming is going to be.

The angels don't know it,

it hadn't been revealed.

So I think that's what he's talking about.

Of course he and the Father are one,

but at the same time, wecannot separate the fact

that there is a trinity.

There's a Father, there'sa Son and the Holy Spirit.

But when Jesus was here on earth,

I know he was the incarnate Son of God,

but still he lived as a man

and he received the same revelations

that human beings received,

so he, when he was here didn't know when

his return was going to be

and from that moment on, none of us do.

So if somebody tries to tell you

this is when Jesus is comingback, don't believe it,

'cause it's not, they will not know.

- Amen, that's right.

Okay, Michelle fromChesterfield South Carolina

has this question for Pat.

- [Michelle] My questionis if God is all knowing,

all loving and all powerful,

why does he allow evilto exist in the world?

Thank you.

- You know, that's something people

have thought about a long time,

but let me ask you this.

Would you serve God,

you serve a Father,

would you love your Father

if you thought if you stepped out

of line he'd zap you?

And so when you come home at night

instead of a little child coming

and throwing his arms around you

and saying daddy, you're home,

he'd be cowering in the corner waiting

to be punished.

God could strike down evil any time

he wanted to, but then he would send fear

to the universe.

How did he decide to do it?

Instead of fear, which he could have done,

he said I'm going to die myself,

I'm going to prove

that love is the answer

and love will control the universe

and so he said I'm gonna send my own Son

to die on the cross totake the penalty for sin

and I'm gonna show the universe

the principalities andthe powers in heaven

that love is triumphant.

That's why he didn't smack Satan down

at the early days, okay.

- Amen, great word.

Here's John from Findlay,Ohio with this question.

- [John] My question is this.

Once your name is written

in the Lamb's Book of Life

and you receive salvation,

are you still subject to a judgment day?

So I appreciate your timeand your answer, thank you.

- John says you will not come

into the final judgment but are passed.

He that hears my word

and believes on him thatsent me has everlasting life

and they shall not come into judgment,

but it's passed from death into life.

So, the answer if we have come

to the Lord and we're living in him

and we're walking in his spirit,

then comes the white throne of judgment,

we will not be part of that company.

We will be on, if I can use the term

of the express train to New Jerusalem,

we will not have a stop off in purgatory

or anyplace like that, all right.

- Amen, sounds good.

All right, here's a question from Paula.

She's from Atlanta, Georgia.

- [Paula] My question isif God forgives us all sins

and chooses to remember them no more,

he says and as far as the east is

from the west, then how come we have

to give an accountability

when we get to see the Lord?

I don't understand,shouldn't we just be able

to walk up and say hey, come on in.

Thank you.

- I had a little hardtime hearing that one.

What was-

- So if God forgives us of all sin

and chooses to remember them no more,

he sends them as far as the east is

from the west, then how come

we have to give an accountability

when we get to the Lord, when we get to heaven?

- Well, I think you'relooking at the rewards.

You know, great is your reward in heaven.

And the Bible talks about rewards.

I don't think when we get to heaven

it's all going to be the same thing,

but what will the reward be?

It will be closer to the Lord

and I think our reward,

the greatest reward ofall is being with Jesus,

but there will be levels of reward

and we'll stand before,

what's called the Bema, the judgment seat

that we will receive whatwe've done in our bodies

and I can't believe that the fellow

who was the thief on the cross,

he just got saved is gonna have

the same reward in heaven

as the Apostle Paul had, for example.

It just doesn't seem fair

and I think the Lord is a God of fairness.

But that's what he's talking about.

There is a question of reward

and not final judgment.

That's a different matter, all right.

- Amen, all right, here's,wow we're gonna take a break.

Up next, our final round

of this special edition

of "Your Questions,Honest Answers" from Pat.

Stay tuned because we will be right back.

(upbeat music)

Welcome to the final round

of our special show ofviewer voicemail questions

and Pat's honest answers.

We're gonna start with Linda.

She's from Stockton, California.

Go ahead, Linda.

- [Linda] My name is Linda

and I'd like to know whatthe mark of the beast is.

- In Revelation, they'retalking about the antichrist,

and the mark, the ideathere is the forehead

is where your volition is,

the hand is where your action is

and the idea is that you'regonna take this mark.

And I think,

if you want to be precise about it,

I don't think that somebody's gonna put

a computer chip,

but the proof is they've got them now.

You have computer chips that will have

your entire medical historyembedded into your hand

so that technology hasactually come to pass,

but it can't be very hardto make it worldwide,

but really the mark of the beast

is following the work of the antichrist

and doing it with yourhead, your forehead,

that's your volition, your hand is your actions.

You've be agreeing with him on your mind

and your actions willbe following it through

and then the questionis who's the antichrist

and I don't need to gointo that right now.

- So it won't be like a literal 666-

- I don't think, 666, six is one less

than the number of perfection,

seven is perfect, eight, well seven's complete,

eight's perfect and sixis less than perfect.

That 666 is okay,

but let's not go into that anymore.

- All right, well, here's Kimberly

from Savannah, Georgiawith this question for Pat.

- [Kimberly] I was just calling to ask

why are there so manydifferent denominations

in the Christian faith.

We're all one family in Christ Jesus

as followers of Christ, right?

- The Apostle Paul said I pray

that you might stand with one

and be eager to maintainthe unity of the spirit,

the bonds of peace, so wehave unity of the spirit.

Then he says till we all come to the unity

of the faith and when he was writing,

he said, look, in kind, you've got

the Christ party, you'vegot the Peter party,

you've got the Paul party.

He said did Peter die for you,

did Paul die for you?

You know, we're supposed to be one,

but why do we have these denominations?

It has to do really with pride

and each one thinks they've got

their own little corner of the marketplace

and, of course, they can get very violent

with one another and actually during

the Middle Ages, they were killing people

who didn't agree with theCatholic Church, for example.

There were some terrible things

and then the Protestants came on

and did some of their stuff

and what's happened in Northern Ireland,

for example, it's beenProtestant, Catholic,

it's been horrible.

These things are so deep

and they're so necessarily unimportant

so many of them.

It's so unimportant when you look

at the overall, but we're supposed

to be eager to maintain the unity

of the spirit, which we'vegot till we come into

the knowledge of God

and we don't have knowledge yet.

All right, next question.

- Amen.

All right, here's Marthafrom Sanford, Florida

with this question.

- [Martha] I have a question, Pat.

Do you think there are different degrees

of hell and heaven?

- [Wendy] Differentdegrees, different degrees.

- I think so.

The Apostle Paul said I was called up

to the third heaven,

so I think there's one heavenright around the earth.

The devil is called is called prince

of the power of the air,

so I think there are degrees

and I think, you know, up the way

it'll be different levels, all right.

- All right, and I think we have time

for one more or maybe we don't.

John, from-

- [Producer] No, we're done.

- Well, John we are done, sorry.

- Is that it?

- We'll have to get this next time.

That's it, great job, Pat.

- Well, thank you so much

for being with us and I hope

this has helped a little bit.

Our Power Minute is from Proverbs.

"The fruit of the righteousis a tree of life,

and he who wins souls is wise."

And tomorrow, we've got, well and expose

of America's most deadly addictions.

It's called sugar.

We'll talk to you about that,

thanks for being with us.

We'll see you tomorrow.
