- Welcome back to "The Superbook Show."

So last week,

we talked about our favoriteThanksgiving dishes,

but food only scratches the surface

when it comes to all theLord does to bless us.

Even in the most difficult circumstances,

God is still moving in our lives.

So this week "The Superbook Show" hosts

want to share some other blessings

they're thankful for this 2020.

(bright music)

(air whooshing)

- 2020 has been a difficult year

and it might feel like there'snothing to be thankful for,

but I'm thankful for myfamily and my friends.

- Hey, guys, Emma here.

And I am thankful this year in 2020

for my relationship with God.

I'm thankful for myrelationship with my family.

This year has justbrought up a lot of stuff,

and it's just been sonice to have a family

and my relationship withJesus to fall back on,

and just realize what's important in life.

So I'm thankful for that. (laughs)

- Hey, everyone, it's Josh.

And one of the thingsthat I'm thankful for

this 2020 is technology.

If used right, technology hashelped a lot of people like me

to stay in touch with theirfamily and their friends

all around the world so thatwe didn't miss a single second.

It's also helped me growcloser to God over the pandemic

because I wasn't able to miss curch.

I didn't have an excuse.

So I was able to tune into my live stream

for my church and receive the word of God

directly through my phone or laptop.

- Hi, everyone. It's Sophia here.

Three things I'm thankful for in 2020.

First is having theability to go to church.

It is so important

that we gather togetherwith other believers.

Next is being able tocommunicate with my friends

while working out at my karate dojo,

and last being able to homeschool

through Liberty University Online Academy.

God is so faithful and I'm so thankful.

See you guys next time. Bye.

- What's up?

The thing that I'm mostthankful for in 2020

is the quarantine and all thefree time that came with it.

When I was in quarantine,

I was able to explore my own interests.

I was able to do personal projects,

and I was able to buildmyself up as a person.

This only came because of the quarantine

and all the free time associated with it.

So I don't know.

The quarantine has negative aspects,

but I think that a reallypositive aspect is the free time.

And that's why I'm thankful for it.

- Hey, everyone.

So something that I am super, super thankful for this 2020

is health and just having stayed healthy

through this pandemic

because I get sick really, really easy.

And so I was really afraidthat I was going to get sick,

but luckily I am safe.

I am healthy. I am happy.

And so is all of my family andmy roommates and my friends.

So we're doing good over here,

and I hope you guys areall staying safe too.

Hi, I'm Molly Jean.

And I'm thankful for all thedoctors and nurses out there

putting their lives at risk

and why I'm so, frontlines help take care of us.

- Hey, guys, this is Alexfrom "The Superbook Show."

And this year I am mostthankful for my church.

During this whole COVID situation,

they've been so great.

They even raised a lot ofmoney to give to families

that maybe lost their jobs

or needed a lot of help during the season.

So I'm very thankful for them.

And I'm also thankful

that they were able to open up the church.

- Hey, "Superbook Show," Morgan here.

Something I'm thankful forthis Thanksgiving is Clarence.

He brings so much joy into mylife and entertainment daily.

(Clarence meows)

- Hey, everyone, this year in 2020,

I'm actually thankful for thetrials that I went through.

In James 1:2-3, it says,

"Count it all joy, my brothers,

when you meet trials of various kinds

because you know thatthe testing of your faith

produces steadfastness."

In other words,

because of the trials thatI went through this year,

it taught me how to trust Jesus

and how to be a steadfast believer.

- In 2020, I'm grateful for the health

of my friends and family.

I know due to the COVID-19 pandemic,

it hasn't been super easy,

but due to staying safeand being six feet apart,

everyone's been able to be healthy.

So grateful for that.

- Love you.

- I love you too, Granny.

- Hey, guys, Miriam here.

And one thing that I amsuper thankful for in 2020

would definitely be justhow thoughtful and caring

my friends and family havebeen towards each other

and towards me.

So during quarantine,

when no one was allowedto hang out in person,

we would all drive to eachother's houses sometimes

and drop off these surprise care packages

at each other's front doors.

And it was just really nice.

And I'm thankful for it.

- In 2020, I'm most thankful

for the relative quiet of the pandemic.

I know that this has been ahectic time for many people,

and I feel truly blessed tobe able to enjoy downtime

in the midst of this whole chaos.

And it serves as a great reminder to me

that not having a packed schedule

and not always being productive is okay.

- The thing I'm most thankfulfor is definitely my family.

Earlier this year, my grandma passed away.

And so we really helped each other

kind of grieve through it.

And so it was really hard,

but I'm thankful for a familythat supports each other

because not everyone doeshave a family like that.

So I'm really gratefulthat God gave me one.

(air whooshing)

- Wow. God is so good.

And we have so much to be thankful for.

Oh, there's the wind. (laughs)

- Take a video or a picture.

- It's a video.

- Of course it is.

(laughing together)

(lively jazz music)
