- SuperBook Show!

- Welcome, everyone,to the SuperBook Show.

Quinn will be with you momentarily.

I think.

- Isn't this new album great?

(upbeat music)

- What new album?

The new mixtape from The Independent Kids.

It's pretty much the soundtrackof my life right now.

- The soundtrack of your life?

So you really believe in this music?

- Yeah. How couldn't you?

It's about kids doing their own thing,

making their own path.

You know, I'm pretty sure this is just

what the world needed right now.

- Mm, no.

I don't know.

My mom had to give mepermission to even be here.

- So... not a fan, huh?

- Well, how can a kid be independent?

- What do you mean?

Kids are startingbusinesses, building apps,

conquering the world.

- But who's buying the computers

that they use to build their apps?

Who's signing the paperworkto give them permission

to work or to start their businesses?

- Parents?

- Yeah, probably.

Some adult or guardian.

- Way to be a kill joy.

You're really messing up the vibe.

- Sorry.

- Which is like track two onThe independent Kids' mixtape

called "You Really Messin' Up The Vibe."

- Really?

I guess I'm not a fan after all,

but I only did it to make a point.

- Yeah, then what's thepoint, miss vibe messer-upper.

- Well, we spend ourentire lives preparing

to be independent of our parents,

but God is teaching us, his children,

to become dependent on him.

- So you mean to tell meGod's not a fan either?

Oh, man.

- The same way we can doall things through Christ

to gives us strength. Jesussaid that apart from him,

we can do nothing.

- Wow. I don't knowwhat to say about that.

Seems pretty straight forward to me.

- It's direct.

A lot of times we don't thinkabout how much we really need

God.

- Well, that's probably whenthings are going well for us.

- Exactly.

It's easy to forget about Godwhen you don't seem to have a

problem.

- But like you said earlier, the kids that build an app,

got the computer fromsomebody and in the same way,

everything we do, we do itfrom things provided by God,

the air we breathe, ourstrength, our very brains,

all provided by God.

- Wow. Wait,

don't tell me your not a fan now.

Give me those ear buds.

SuperBook Show! Woo!

- You know, come to think of it,

my parents even bought me themixtape and even download it

myself, duh.

- His word is forever alive.
