Thanks for checking us out people.
- And we wanted to say tothose of you who are watching
we love you and we hope you're doing well.
- We know it's a lotof bad news right now.
- Some of you may have gotten sick
or even know someone who's gotten sick.
- But we want to encourage you
that we serve a God whois still in control.
(air whooshing)
- And we know that'shard to hear right now
because of the Corona virusand the natural disasters.
- Not to mention all that stuff going on
with our government.
- But you know what?
- I'm all ears.
- Untested faith isn'treally faith at all.
- Say what?
- It's easy to believe
that everything's going to be all right
when everything's all right.
- That's true.
It's definitely a lot harder
now that things aren't going so well.
- And it's a lot harder to believe
that God hears your prayers
when things look bad in your life.
- Tell me about it.
I've been praying for a curefor this virus since March.
- I bet a lot of ushave, but does that mean
that God's not our healer?
- Well, no.
- And just becausethings look bad right now
does that mean that hedoesn't hear our prayers?
- No, it doesn't.
But what are we supposed to do about it?
- I mean, look around us.
- Okay. This is goingto sound a little crazy.
- Go ahead.
The whole world sounds crazy right now.
- We have to look at the invisible.
- Okay. You were right.
You do sound crazy.
- Okay. But hear me out. TheBible says that the bad things
of this world are only temporary.
- Finally, some good news.
- And get this.
It says that we haveto focus on the things
that we cannot see, not thetrouble that we see now.
- So instead of fearing the coronavirus
and worrying about the numbers,
I can focus on the factthat God is my healer.
- Yes. And we can do thatthrough worship songs
that talk about God being our healer
or scriptures that talkabout God being our healer.
- Have you got any of those scriptures?
- Most definitely.
Matthew clearly talks aboutJesus's ability to heal.
It says that when Jesus was ministering
he healed every kind ofsickness and illness.
- Whoa, every kind?
- Every kind.
So, Corona or whateverailment we're going through
is no match for Jesus, our healer.
- Hey, you got any moreof those scriptures?
- I do.
If this new normal iswhat's bringing you down
and you're fighting withsadness and depression,
just know Jesus heals the brokenhearted.
- There are scriptures in this book.
- Naomi, there's nothing in your hand.
- It's invisible.
Here, one second.
(bell pinging) There.
There's scriptures in this Superbook
that we talk to you guys about every week
for every hurt or injury thatyou might be experiencing,
even the new ones.
- And no matter how bad things get,
remember it's only temporary.
We have to look at the invisible.
- His word is forever alive.
(air whooshing)
- [Naomi] Wait, can they see us?
- [Kaitlin] I don't think so.
