- Okay?
- All right, you ready for some questions?
- Well, let's go for it.
- All right, the first onecomes from a viewer who says,
"Our pastor said the storyof Jonah and the whale
is an analogy.
Is this true?"
- Well, unless you saythat Jesus Christ is a liar
and I don't think you wannathat and be a minister of God.
But Jesus said even as Jonahwas three days in the belly
of the fish, even so the sonof man will be three days
in the tomb before he rises again.
So the Lord ascended to Jonahand I believe Jonah was real.
I really believe that.
And I've written partof a book I've written
on the Holy Spirit and the story of Jonah
because of what it means, I think is very,
absolutely real, okay?
- This is Katalina who says,
"How should we respondto fellow Christians
with differing views onpolitics and abortion?"
- Well, I think you shouldlove them and not argue.
I think the Bible says we'renot supposed to get involved
in wrangling about thelittle points of doctrine.
And so you disagree on these things.
I mean, you know, just smile and say,
okay, you're entitled to your views
and I'm entitled to mineand let's get on with life
and let's love each other, all right?
- This is Ruth who says,
"My question is: if you're not baptized,
does it mean you won't go to heaven?
That's the question that I have
that's really been bugging me."
- Oh, absolutely not.
The Apostle Paul said, "Godsent me to preach the gospel.
He didn't send me to baptize, although I baptized a few."
And you read the story of Paul,
and Paul, you know, was seen by Jesus.
He had this tremendous experience
and Ananias came to him and said,
"Arise and be baptized, calling on the Lord."
So Paul himself wasbaptized and I'm a Baptist.
And I've been baptized acouple of times. (laughing)
- Me too.
(laughing)
- Just to make sure.
So I'm all for baptism,
bu it's not gonna keep you out of heaven.
There's no way.
That is an act of obedienceafter you've received the Lord.
