On the Campaign Trail, Biden Blasts Trump as 'Reckless', the President Says He's 'Energized' by Prayers

- With three weeks until election day,
President Trump and hisDemocratic rival Joe Biden
are hitting the campaigntrail hard this week.
♪ And I'm proud to be an American ♪
♪ Where at least I know-- ♪
- [George] The President was back
in his home state ofFlorida late Monday night
for his campaign rallysince contracting COVID-19.
- I am so energized by your prayers
and humbled by your support.
We've had such incredible support,
and here we are.
- [George] Trump using thestage to tout his appointment
of three judges to the Supreme Court,
including the most recent selection
of Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
- But who would have thought
we're on number three.
You know, other presidentshave never had any.
I will say this, it's driving them crazy.
- [George] 10 days aftertesting positive for the virus,
the President's doctor releasing this memo
saying he's not infectious,
and tested negative on consecutivedays for the coronavirus.
Trump's Florida rally, packedwith thousands of people,
was his first stop this week
that will include events inthe key battleground states
of Pennsylvania, Iowa, NorthCarolina, and Wisconsin.
A much different campaignscene for his rival Joe Biden,
who was out in Cincinnati,Ohio the same day
holding a drive-in rally.
Attendees here choosingto sit in their cars
or on roofs instead, asthe former Vice President
accused the incumbentof acting irresponsible.
- His reckless personalconduct since his diagnosis
has been unconscionable.
- [George] The latestABC poll shows Mr. Trump
trailing Mr. Biden by 12 points.
Despite concerns over the pandemic,
Americans across thecountry are already voting.
This was the scene in Columbus, Georgia,
as thousands stood inlong lines for hours.
- I got up about 5:15 this morning.
Got me a cup of coffee.
I came out here, the line wasprogressively getting longer.
- [George] The latest numbers show
more than 10 million people in 45 states
and our nation's capital
have already cast theirballots in early voting.
