DO YOU THINK GOD WOULD LET YOU DIE AND GO TO HELL WHEN HE KNOWS THAT LATER IN LIFE YOU WOULD ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR? DO YOU BELIEVE WE ARE ALREADY IN THE GREAT TRIBULATION? Read Transcript

- Okay.

- Got some questions.

- Well, let's go for 'em.

- This is Kathy, who says,

"Do you think God wouldlet you die and go to hell

"when He knows that later in life

"you would accept Jesus as your

"personal Lord and Savior?"

- There's a rule in appellate law that

they don't take a casebefore it's ready to be tried

and now, give me caseof somebody who actually

has that problem, then I can deal with it.

We don't deal in hypotheticals.

God is all-knowing.

He's all-knowing,

and He knows what's gonnahappen in people's lives and,

that's one of those things.

Who needs it?

Okay, what else?

- This is Jerry, who says,

"Pat, since you don't believe

"in the pre-tribulation rapture,

"do you believe we're alreadyin the Great Tribulation?

"And when did it begin?"

- Look, there's a continuum of history.

It's been going on forever.

I'm sure at the breakupof the Roman Empire,

with the Goths and the Visigoths,

people must have thoughtthis is the end of the world.

I'm sure when the plague hit Europe,

the Great Plague that waskilling so many people,

they must have thought thiswas the end of the world.

People are dying by the thousands.

We have plagues now.

We have locust.

We have that Sahara dust storm.

We have a financial crisis.

We have a coronavirus.

We have earthquakes and famines,

but Jesus said,

"These are the beginning of the sorrows.

"There'll be earthquakesand there'll be famines,

"and pestilence in diverse places."

"These are the beginning,

"but when this gospel ofthe kingdom is preached

"in all the world for the witness,

"then the ends are gonna come."

So, the preaching of thegospel is the big thing,

and the answer is

the gospel is now beingpreached all over the world,

and I don't know about a tribulation,

but I do know that in termsof the coming of the Lord,

we are much closerbecause of that, alright?

- D.B. says, "How manytimes does a person need

"to say the Sinner's Prayer?

"I often hear it at theend of different services.

"I feel like I have to say it every time."

- Uh, no.

It's like gettin' adopted.

You only get adopted once.

You don't have to get, or get born,

you don't have to get born more than once.

You get born.

If you're adopted, you're adopted.

If you accept the Lord,

but there are people,

just 'cause you've said a few words,

"not everybody thatsays to me 'Lord, Lord'

"shall come into the kingdom."

You've got to have a true repentance.

You've got to turn away from sin,

and I hear some of these say,

"Well, you just pray this, and now you're born again."

No you're not.

You're born again whenyou truly renounce sin

and you give your heart to Jesus totally,

and you wanna live forhim from that moment on,

and when the power of theHoly Spirit comes upon you.

But saying these thingsgoing forward every time,

you don't have to do that.

I mean, you know, you're in the Lord,

and you need to rest as his child.
