Standing under the shadowof the Western Wall,

Israelis ask God to eradicate

the coronavirus from the earth.

- We can't develop medicinesbecause we're not doctors

and we're not medics and wejust don't know what to do.

But what we do knowhow to do well is pray.

as some fear the world is onthe verge of a global pandemic.

So far, more than 71,000 people

have been infected worldwide.

China, where the diseasebegan, is hit the hardest,

with more than 2,000 people dead,

and the death toll climbing every day.

- We're praying for the people in China.

We're praying for allpeople around the world.

In order to keep them safe,in order to keep them secure,

in order to enable the doctorsto find a cure very fast

for this terrible coronavirus.

- The faithful utteredprayers in Hebrew and Mandarin

asking God to intervene.

Several Chinese tourists joined them.

- I really appreciate thata lot of Jewish people

can come here for thepurpose to pray for China

and pray that the difficulttime will pass very soon.
