- We have some questions for you.

- Let's go for it.

By the way, tomorrow'sthe big question show.

We don't need any morequestions, but go ahead.

- Yeah, here's one from Megan.

She says, "Hi, Pat, I'ma junior in college,

"yet I still live with myparents, because it's cheaper.

"My mother has sufferedfrom mental illness

"since I was young, and mygrandma spent much of my life

"raising me when my mother couldn't.

"Recently, my grandmother passed away,

"and my mother has gottenoff her medicine again.

"She often puts me down and blames me

"for things I've not done.

"I try to love her and askGod to give me strength

"to deal with her in a calm manner,

"yet sometimes I lose my temper

"and then feel terrible about it.

"Is there any advice you cangive me for dealing with this?"

- First of all, you'redealing with a little child.

She's your mother, butshe's got mental problems,

and she is acting like a child.

So if a little baby sayssomething that upsets you,

you don't get mad at the baby,

you just say, well, isn't he cute, you know?

What an interesting little baby.

But, the first thing that you wanna,

you don't argue with your mother.

You don't try to answer back.

You just take it, andkeep your mouth shut,

and you just pray forgrace, that's what you do.

The minute you startarguing, you've lost it,

and it's so easy, because, you know,

you love your mother, andyou want her to be normal,

and you want her to love you,and you want all those things,

and it hurts you that you don't get them,

but at the same time, just remember,

in terms of this mother, you'redealing with a little child,

and you don't get mad ather for what she says.

You just don't do it, and youjust keep your mouth shut,

and you say, I just give itto the Lord, okay, all right?

- Great advice.

Sheri says, "I attendedchurch as a little girl,

"but for a while my husbandand I have not been going.

"We decided to start going again

"to build our marriageon a stronger foundation.

"At one church, theywere speaking in tongues.

"I've never heard this before.

"It made me feel uneasy,

"but it could be because Idon't know anything about it.

"Is this something we should learn?

"I hope the Lord doesn'tlook down on me for this."

- Well, the Lord's notgonna look down on you,

but I recommend that youget to First Corinthians,

and you read what theapostle Paul had to say

about the gifts of the Holy Spirit,

the anointing of the HolySpirit, and, but it also says,

when an unbeliever comesinto your presence,

and everybody's speaking in tongues,

they'll think you're crazy.

So the Bible says that unlessthere's an interpreter,

you should, you know, keepyour utterance to yourself.

He that speaks in atongue edifies himself,

but I do recommend that you read up

on the gifts of the spirit,

and the anointing of the Holy Spirit,

and learn about that.

So God's not gonna hold it against you.

What else do you got?

- Troy says, "I've been aChristian since I was 15,

"and have experiencedmany dreams and visions.

"Jesus has visited me on many occasions.

"Most recently, it was avision of the end times,

"with the blood moon.

"The dream has happened twice now.

"Something in my spirit is telling me

"to share this testimony.

"I have many doubtersabout my dreams and myself,

"and who I've been called to be.

"I'm seeking answers,

"any advice to help guideme in the right direction."

- You know, if what aprophet says comes to pass,

then you can respect him.

If what he says doesn't come to pass,

then you can ignore him.

The Bible says don't despise prophecy,

so you think you've had some dreams,

and wait for confirmation, I mean,

if you have a confirmationthat what you've said,

and test the spirits, theBible says test the spirit.

It isn't somethingthat's necessarily wrong,

but it just may be thatyou're especially sensitive,

and the Lord wants toreveal himself to all of us,

and some people are moresensitive than others.
