- Sabrina suffered from foodallergies her entire life.

Through years of trial and error

she learned to cut outdairy, sugar, wheat, soy,

but some problems still remained.

And then Sabrina met Ericand he changed her life

when he said a few simplewords, let me cook for you.

- [Narrator] The use of essential oils

has exploded in recent years,

and while many people use these oils

in diffusers or cleaners,

oils can also help you lose weight.

- Lot of research being done with cinnamon

and blood pressure balancing.

So whether someone'sdiabetic, someone's obese,

there's a lot of things you could do.

- [Narrator] In their bookThe Essential Oils Diet,

Dr. Eric Zielinski and his wife Sabrina

team up to share why their 30-day

essential fast track works

and how we can use thesepowerful plant compounds

to banish excess pounds quickly.

- And Dr. Eric and SabrinaZielinski are here with us now.

Welcome to the 700 Club you guys.

- Thank you so much.

- Well, thank you for having us.

- And you're known as Dr. Z and Mama Z?

- Yes.- Yes.

- Okay, so from now onthat will be your name,

although I love the name Sabrina,

it's one of my favorite names.

Okay, Dr. Z you're quick to tell us that

don't look at essentialoils as a quick fix

like a, you know, what am Igonna take for my acid reflux?

How should we look at essential oils?

- You know, like we always say,

if you're living a fast food lifestyle

and using essential oils,

it's like one step forwardbut two steps back.

It has to be holistic.

Prayer, meditation, exercise, good food and diet.

When you mix essentialoils, it's wonderful.

- You claim the worddiet has been co-opted

by the weight loss industry andthat we need to get it back.

- Oh yes.- How do you define diet?

- Well, diet is simply thecollection of foods that you eat,

so my diet is different than your diet,

but it's been co-opted and nowthere's cheat days involved

and there's quick fixes, butwe wanna encourage people

to transform their livesin a lifelong process,

and it's beautiful whenyou do it that way.

- Yeah, the Bible talks a lot about oils.

- Yes.

- It talks about the anointingoil, and the different oils,

in what ways do essential oils

match up withbiblically-based health oils?

- You know, there's a scripturein the book Revelation

that says "for the leaves of the trees

"are for the healing of the nations"

and nothing epitomizesthat like essential oils.

That, what makes a plant healthy,

what makes a plant powerful, are the essential oils.

- Is a particular brandthat you guys like,

or do you have your own brand, or...

- We're actually non-branded

and we're neutral in that space.

- Okay.

- So there are a lot of different brands

that sell good quality essential oils

and we actually help people learn

how to find a good brand in our book.

- And we actually joke around, we say

at holiday functions wedon't talk about politics

or the essential oil brand we use,

because that can start a war.

- It can, so we're neutral.

- I gotcha, okay, wellwe have so many things

to go over here, let's start with this.

It's the fat-burning iced matcha.

It's sort of a coffee substitute, right?

- [Eric] Yes.

- [Wendy] Okay, tell us about this.

- Well, out of all ofthe recipes in the book,

this is the only one I can take claim to,

it's because Mama Z'sthe brilliant mastermind

behind all of them,

and I came up with this toget me off the coffee habit,

because unlike coffee thatgives you a nice spike down,

you crash, some people have jitters,

matcha green tea gives youa nice bell curve of energy,

it's cancer-fighting, ithelps you promote weight loss,

and we add some cinnamon barkand peppermint essential oil

which helps curb hunger cravings

and also balances blood sugar,

it's wonderful and it tastes great.

- It does taste great, now,

is that actually, can we taste this?

- If you want, are you sure?

- I really, I haven't had any coffee today

so this is a huge straw.- It is a big straw.

- And you know, if we have anything that

if we went without it, and ourbody has a negative response,

then that's really Godtrying to show us that maybe

that's something that we'retrying to wean out of our life,

or that we should wean out of our life.

And this is a great substitute.

- That might be an acquired taste for me,

but I do like it.

Okay.- It might be the stevia.

'Cause it's a natural sweetener.

- Okay, I like it, it is smooth.

Alright, kale and avocado super pesto.

- Yes, so these are somesuper foods put in here

using essential oils,

but the nice thing about this dip is that

you can use it over top of salad,

you can dip crackers, or anykind of vegetables in it.

But you could also--

- [Wendy] This is the pesto, right?

- [Sabrina] Yes.

- [Wendy] I love pesto.

- [Sabrina] Yeah, and it's beautiful.

- And then we have something that

I actually attempted last night

'cause I saw it in my notes--- Yes!

- That you guys weregoing to make it today.

Coconut whipped cream.- Yes.

- 'Cause I wanted to havea light dessert last night.

- Mmhmm, mmhmm.

- So I texted my husband,

Can you pick up a can of coconut cream?

So he did, but now it didn'tcome out fluffy like this

because when you open the can,

there's the cream part andthere's the liquid part

and I made the mistake of putting

too much of the liquid part,

so how do you make that?

- Yes, so you take yourfull of fat coconut milk,

you put it in the fridge, andthen what you're gonna do is

you're gonna take itout, flip it upside down,

- Right.- Open it.

Pour that off, use thatfor a smoothie later.

- Right.- And then you're gonna

take that solid creamout, and then blend that,

and it's fabulous.- Yummy.

- Why is this coconut creamso much better than using

like, the dairy versionof this, like heavy cream?

- So many people are lactose intolerant

and dairy can be so inflammatory,

even a lot of the organicdairy out there is pasteurized

and you just don't knowwhat's going on with the cow.

And so people have found this is

a great substitute for dairy.

- It's delicious too.

So then moving right along,we have the lemon tea bread.

- Yes.- That right here, mmm.

- So you can have yourgluten free, dairy free,

sugar free cake and eatit too with this one.

And the best part about the topping is

it's using natural confectioners sugar

so that's one of the number one things

people say when they have allergies is

"What do I do for birthday parties?"

You can make a beautiful dish like this,

or you can make it into cupcakes as well.

- It looks yummy!

Alright, and then we have basicgarlic and pine nut pasta.

That doesn't look toobasic, it looks amazing.

It's right here.

- Well, there's basil in there,

there's pine nuts, garlic, and you know

a lot of people who love Italian

who can't do gluten free,

or who find out that theyneed to do gluten free

absolutely love this dish.

- That looks so good.

Okay, now, you guys aregonna actually show us

how to make something.

What's it called?

- This is our Southwestern Casserole.

- Okay, alright, so where do we start?

- So we boiled some rice,it's all set, ready to go.

We have a can of refriedbeans in the bottom.

- I love refried beans.- Yes!

- It's a great protein source, right?

- It absolutely is.

And you mix these two together,it makes a complete protein.

So Dr. Z, do you wannaput that right on top?

- Yes.

- Okay.

- [Wendy] Alright, wegot our rice and beans.

- Yep.- Yes!

Oh look, he's even beautifying it.

- [Eric] Mmhmm, you taught me well.

- [Sabrina] Oh perfect.

Okay so--- Avocado?

- We got our avocados and thisis gonna be our lemon juice

and our lime essential oil.

- Okay, and you buy the lime essential oil

at a health food store, or?

- Absolutely.

And there is cilantroessential oil in there too,

so we're gonna make a guacamole like dip.

And he is the best souschef on the planet,

so he's gonna mash that up for us.

- The avocado masher.- Okay, great.

- So what I do is, if I'mgonna use lemon juice,

I use lime essential oil.

- [Wendy] Right.

- And if I use lime juice,I use lemon essential oil--

- Perfect.- Give it a lot more flavor.

- Yes, and you don't needa lot of essential oil

when you're cooking with it.

Just a few drops right?- You really don't.

And in your recipes, ageneral rule of thumb is

for every one teaspoon, ifyou used it for an extract,

you could use one to threedrops of essential oils.

- Okay, Dr Z--- It is quite a necessity,

'cause we didn't have--- Don't mash it all the way up

'cause we have to move it along

'cause we're running out of time.

- We're gonna go?- Let's go ahead and just--

This would normally be like a guac?

- You mash it up good.- Like a guacamole?

- Absolutely.- And the lime actually

helps trigger fat burning and weight loss

and the cilantro is so healthy.

- Do you want to put the next layer on?

- Yes.

- This is our tomatoes and our chillies.

- Okay, tomatoes andchillies, that looks amazing.

And again, this is calledthe Southwest Casserole?

- [Sabrina] Yes, go ahead and--

- [Wendy] And then what do we have next?

- Alright, so this is our chili seasoning

put into a veganaise, grapeseed oil veganaise.

This is a stand alone dip,

and we can put that right on top.

- [Wendy] Oh yeah, I probablyshould use the spatula.

- There you go.- Okay.

- [Sabrina] And it's usinga homemade chili seasoning.

- [Wendy] Ooh that smells amazing.

- [Sabrina] Most chiliseasoning has sugar in it.

- [Wendy] Right.

- So this is a way to do it on your own

with only making it withabout six ingredients

that you probably have at home.

- And then what do we have next?

- We're gonna do the olives.- Okay, I'm just gonna,

we have like 30 secondsso I'm just making this--

- [Wendy] Yeah, this is perfect.

- [Eric] This is how you do it.

We got four kids so wethrow some things in there.

- Put the top on.

- It all looks good at the end.

- Yeah, it really does.

- Perfect!- The stomach doesn't know.

- [Wendy] Now, what is this?

- [Sabrina] This is thediet cheddar cheese so,

this is a dairy free, a vegan cheese

and actually it--- How does it taste?

- It tastes amazing.

There's so many better options now--

- [Wendy] Anything to goon top, or is that it?

- [Sabrina] This is perfect, it's ready--

- Let's take it to the oven!- For the oven.

- Cool.- Alright, let's do it.

- Alright.- Ooh, yeah, thank you.

Alright, so we are going to

how long does it stay in the oven?

- 30 minutes but the greatthing about this recipe is

it also can be doneabsolutely without cooking it

so you can bring your layered dip

to any kind of party anddo it cooked or not cooked.

- Ooh, it's bubbling.

Okay, so 30 minutes.

And you can have it cooked or uncooked.

- Mmhmm.- That's right.

- [Wendy] I love this!

- Great with some veggies,or some organic corn chips,

it's a favorite everywhere we go.

- Alright, well your cookbookis The Essential Oils Diet.

Lose weight and transform your health

with the power ofessential oils and bioact--

- Bioactive.- Bioactive foods.

You can get recipes forthe dishes you just saw,

and many many more bygetting this brand new book.

Again, it's called the Essential Oils Diet

and it's availablewherever books are sold.

Eric, Sabrina, thank youso much for being here.

- Thank you.
