FL Planned Parenthood Scrutinized for Illegal Abortions

Florida's health agency is targeting three Planned Parenthood clinics for performing illegal abortions.

The Agency for Health Care Administration issued citations against clinics in St. Petersburg, Ft. Myers, and Naples.

It claims the clinics performed second trimester abortions, which are illegal.

Clinic officials admit performing the abortions, but say the definition of second-trimester abortions was changed with no notice.

They claim the citations are part of a nationwide campaign against Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider.

They're petitioning a judge for an emergency ruling on the matter.
