"Rumors of Wars' centers on the story of Roxy, an aspiring college journalist who investigates end time prophecies for a term paper. Her findings prove to be more than anyone bargained for.
"Why does God let bad things happen?" Roxy asks her professor in the movie.
"I know you're just looking for answers," he responds.
"I'm looking for the truth," Roxy states.
Cut to years into the future, when Roxy's diary is discovered by Shaw in the rubble of a post-apocalyptic society. The book finds its way into to the hands of an officer in the new world army who is torn between duty and truth.
"You get to see this guy that's struggling to fulfill his duties with the alliance, and being such a, you know, full-hearted soldier and doing what he's told, and fighting for what he believes in, but at the same time being conflicted with his own morals," actor Ben Davies, who plays Shaw, said.
Other famous faces include actor Eric Roberts, comedian Brad Stine, song artist Jackie Valesquez, and lead singer Mac Powell of Third Day.
Producers say "Rumors of Wars" promises to entertain but more importantly provides a great way to discuss the Bible and the end times with unsaved friends.
"Rumors of Wars" will be out on DVD Nov 11 and will be available anywhere movies are sold.
