ISIS: Arab Christians Must Leave Jerusalem
JERUSALEM, Israel -- A group calling itself a branch of ISIS has threatened Arab Christians in Jerusalem with death if they don't leave the city.
"ISIS Palestine" handed out leaflets in Arab neighborhoods calling on Muslims to identify "those who collaborate with the Zionists" and provide their addresses.
The flyers said if the Christians aren't gone by the end of Ramadan, they will be "slaughtered like sheep."
Israeli police were not aware of the threats until a few days ago. The leaflets included images of ISIS black flags.
Arab Christians aren't the only people the Islamic State is threatening. An ISIS video from Syria promised to "overrun" Hamas, Fatah, and "all of the secularists" not adhering sufficiently to Sharia (Islamic) law, Reuters reported.
"We will uproot the state of the Jews. And you and Fatah and all of the secularists are nothing and you will be overrun by our creeping multitudes. The rule of Sharia will be implemented in Gaza in spite of you," the speaker warns. "We swear that what is happening in the Levant today and in particular in the Yarmouk camp, will happen in Gaza."
