Superbook Changed Mutiara’s Heart
Across the vibrant archipelago of Indonesia, thousands of children recently experienced something extraordinary. From July to October 2025, the Superbook Outdoor Cinema event brought the Gospel to life in over 175 locations, drawing more than 7,700 children. Under the open skies, kids laughed, learned, and discovered God’s love through the animated Bible stories of CBN Animation’s Superbook. Most importantly, over 1,500 children prayed to receive Jesus as their Savior—a powerful testimony of how God is moving through this ministry.
Among those children was Mutiara, a young girl from Atambua. Before attending the event, Mutiara rarely prayed and often ignored her parents’ advice. For her, prayer seemed unimportant—a distant ritual with little meaning. But everything changed one evening when she attended the outdoor cinema at her local church.

In that moment, Mutiara prayed for forgiveness and made a life-changing decision: she would live for Jesus and let him transform her.
Since that night, Mutiara has become a child who prays diligently. She even encourages her parents to pray together at home—a remarkable transformation that began with a simple invitation to watch Superbook. Her story is a beautiful reminder that God’s Word can change hearts and families, especially when shared in creative and engaging ways.
