UPDATE: The Senate has approved a measure to fund the Department of Homeland Security.

The bill would fund the TSA and everything in the department except ICE and parts of Customs and Border Protection.

This measure comes as President Trump announced Thursday he would sign an executive order to restart pay for all TSA employees who have not been paid for more than a month.

Trump announced his decision in a social media post saying he wanted to quickly stop the "Chaos at the Airports."

"It is not an easy thing to do, but I am going to do it!" the president posted.

Democrats have been refusing to fund Homeland Security as they try to stop Trump's plans to enforce America's immigration laws.

The bill still needs approval from the House.
