He Watched Superbook and Wanted His Friends to Know Jesus

Ten-year-old Ra Win has always been curious. For example, when he looked at the sky, he wondered who created it, and who made people and animals. 

His deep questions about life and existence sent him searching for knowledge that no one around him seemed to possess. "I have always wondered who created the world," Ra Win recalled. "I tried to ask the elders, but they said they did not know. So, I thought maybe the world created itself." 

Ra Win told us he then asked his grandparents who he lives with, but they couldn't help him either. “They said they didn't know who made the earth or people," Ra Win explained of his past confusion. "It didn't make sense that the world could make itself." 

The mystery continued to weigh on his young mind, as he had no answers to his big questions.  

Then he was invited to an after-school program supported by CBN’s Orphan’s Promise. There he received help with schoolwork and learned about the Bible by watching CBN’s Superbook. 

The very first animated episode he watched provided the exact answers he had been seeking his entire childhood.

"I watched the first episode where I learned that God created the world!" Ra Win shared joyfully. "He made animals and people too. I learned that JESUS created everything. I felt so happy knowing that. It felt so good inside, like when someone gave me a hug!" 

After watching that single episode, Ra Win prayed to become a Christian. It wasn’t long before he invited a friend to join the after-school program. When he watched Superbook, he prayed to become a Christian too. 

Spreading this newfound hope has brought immense joy to the young boy's heart. "I’m so happy my close friends have become Christians," Ra Win celebrated. "Now they will receive love and forgiveness from Jesus just like I did. I want to invite more kids to come, too!" 

Ra Win also loves sharing Superbook Bible stories with his grandparents. And as he continues to share these life-changing accounts at home, he is believing that God will change their hearts, just like he change Ra Win’s heart.

"My grandparents like to hear me tell them about Superbook!" Ra Win expressed. "I am praying they will believe in Jesus just like me and then we will all go to heaven." 

"Thank you so much to the people who gave me Superbook!" Ra Win added.
