Obama, Medvedev Tout Friendly Relationship

They had burgers together, shared fries, and now they're also apparently Twitter buddies. President Obama said in his joint press availability with Russian President Dimitry Medvedev at the White House today that the two nations had, "succeeded in resetting" relations.

The two leaders appeared together in the East Room of the White House, taking questions from reporters. President Obama made the case for Russia to be admitted to the World Trade Organization. He praised Medvedev's vision for the future of Russia to be build on high tech jobs. Medvedev toured the Silicon Valley earlier this week and wants Moscow to develop a similar technology core.

Obama welcomed Medvedev to the Twitterverse, too. After their press availability, they walked over to the Chamber of Commerce, to further discuss business and economic ties between the United States and Russia.
