I am so very blessed.

I spent the week in Denver, covering the Democratic National Convention. This was the first political convention that I've ever attended.

The climax of the week was Barack Obama's acceptance speech from INVESCO Field.

After the speech was over, I took some time to walk through the throngs of people and ask them what they thought of the event. I caught up with people from Arizona, California, Colorado and Michigan.

Most of the people I spoke with said they were moved by the historic moment, by Obama's message of change and the size of the enormous crowd. Others said they wanted to go back to their respective home towns and volunteer for Obama's campaign.

I caught up with NPR/FOX News commentator and asked him to give me his impression of the speech.

And with that, I'm off to the Republican National Convention… praising God from whom all blessings flow.
