Amia Nico Shares Her Patriotic Message Through Music

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Amia has been singing since she was a young girl, pressing a broomstick into service as her microphone.  She took part in her middle school choir, high school madrigals, and enjoyed formal vocal training at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.  It was 2018 while watching an NFL game that Amia found herself mesmerized by the person singing the patriotic song at the beginning.  “I would love to do that,” she said.  Since, Amia has written more than 200 songs, including America for our country’s 250th semiquincentennial on July 4, 2026.  Trusted by the nation’s premier platforms, including NASCAR, MLB, PBR, and NCAA, Amia’s performances have reached millions through broadcast and digital features with CBS Sports, FOX Sports, and NBC Sports, alongside expansive regional reach via Nexstar Media Group. Whether opening a stadium-scale event for 100,000 fans or a high-protocol gala feature, her soaring renditions are praised for their emotional depth and exceptional precision.

A FRESH PERSPECTIVE

With her faith in God as her foundation, Amia’s work transcends mere performance; it is an experience designed to transform the listener and define the sound of the American spirit for generations to come. “My prayer is that God would restore us as a nation and to Himself, that we’d be drawn back to Him, have renewed love for one another, and uphold the values we were founded upon,” she says.  “It’s a tremendous opportunity. I’m singing for the Lord.” With Memorial Day quickly approaching, Amia thought of John 15:13, which speaks of the greatest love being laying down one’s life for another.  “We’re to serve one another, and be good stewards of what we’re given,” she believes.

WHOLENESS MUSIC

Amia speaks of her singing with the intent to refresh people as “Wholeness Music.”  “There’s a healing aspect of music,” she says, “a distinct power from voice and song.  I yield my voice to the Holy Spirit, and ask the Lord to touch people, to bring calm and peace to their souls.  It is a joy to me to sing in that way.” As a specialist in Wholeness Music, she integrates her background in health and wellness to create performances that do more than entertain—they restore. This unique perspective allows her to navigate high-protocol environments, from exquisite ceremonies to Mar-a-Lago, with a presence that is both beautiful and healing.

MAR-A-LAGO APPEARANCE

In December of 2025, Amia was asked to sing at the America’s Future event at Mar-a-Lago. “It was a dream come true,” she exudes.  “It is a magnificent building inside and was all decked out with Christmas lights and trees.  All there were so kind.  I sang in front of national leaders,” she notes.  When asked how she handles her nerves on such occasions, Amia responds,” Nerves are actually a sign of excitement, so I reframe my perspective.  And I pray, asking God for strength.  I also practice every day!” she says.

NOTE: Amia is offering for a limited time starting on Memorial Day a free download of her own song, America, to viewers of The 700 Club in celebration of the 250th anniversary of our country. Go to https://www.AmiaNico.com
