The CBN WorldReach Latin America office is located in San Jose, Costa Rica. It serves as the headquarters for the entire region with additional offices in Brazil, Mexico, and Peru.
CBN television programs have been broadcast in Latin America for more than 35 years. In countries such as Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Peru, The 700 Club in Spanish has high name recognition. Other programs airing in the region include the music video program One Cubed, which is produced in both Spanish and Portuguese; Vida Dura which is a hard-hitting testimony-based Spanish program; 700 Club Hoy, which is produced in Spanish and Clube 700, which is produced in Portuguese. This weekly Spanish program is similar to The 700 Club in format, but caters directly to the Hispanic market with its energetic Latino hosts. An estimated 50 million viewers watch CBN programs in the region every week in close to 50 nations including the Caribbean and Spain.
CBN Spanish programs are also broadcast in Spain on several TV stations. Video evangelism is also used to reach some rural areas where broadcast signals do not reach.
Effective follow up to the broadcasts is a priority for CBN Latin America. To this end, 40 counseling centers operate in Latin America and are dedicated to providing outreach, discipleship, counseling, ministry and leadership training, cell groups, specialized Bible studies, and humanitarian relief efforts. The counseling centers also support relationships with the local churches by referring new believers to nearby congregations.
Working in partnership with Operation Blessing, CBN Latin America carries out disaster relief, medical missions, water well projects, anti-parasite campaigns, prison ministry. micro-enterprise and life skills projects.
