- And this is a ripple effect revival.
- [Narrator] Jessi Green isthe director of Saturate,
a global revival movementbased in California.
She's passionate aboutpreaching the gospel
and baptizing converts.
Amidst pandemic churchclosures last summer,
Saturate Orange County drewthousands of people to the beach
with its message of hope in Christ.
Jessi believes every Christianis meant to live abundantly
by sharing Jesus with others
and explains how in hernew book "Wildfires."
- All right, please welcometo "The 700 Club" Jessi Green.
Hi, Jessi.
- Hi, Wendy. Thank you for having me.
- Great to have you with us.
Jessi, you lived, worked, and partied in New York City.
What brought you to your knees there?
- Yeah, I was living areally crazy lifestyle.
I actually wanted nothing to do with God,
was working in the nightclub industry,
had depression, anxiety,suicidal thoughts,
and one late night, I just cried out.
I screamed out to God.
And in my tiny apartment, I said,
"God, if you're real, youhave to take this pain away."
And God filled my bedroom.
I was radically saved.
And since that moment, I'vejust been burning on fire
to follow Jesus.
- So amazing.
Well, God asked you a pivotalquestion back in 2016.
What was it and how did itradically change your life?
- Yeah, He asked me aquestion and He said,
"Jessi, what do youlook like fully alive?"
And I know the verse in John 10:10,
but I never really askedthat question myself.
And all of a sudden, I saw a vision
of thousands of peoplebeing baptized in the ocean
and all across the United States.
And I thought, I think thisis what I'm created for,
but my life looks nothing like this.
And so we sold everything
and moved from New York to California
and four years later began revival.
- So tell us about Saturate Orange County.
What is that all about?
- Yeah, we actually have just transitioned
to actually be Saturate Global.
I'm actually in Kentucky right now.
We're leading a revivalin Kentucky this weekend.
And we saw a vision of thousandsof people being baptized.
In 2019, before the pandemic, the Lord said to me,
"Green light.
"The harvest begins summer 2020.
"Prepare the nets."
And so in faith, we startedto prepare people to go out
and share the gospel on the beaches,
not knowing we'd be in themidst of a global pandemic.
And so in faith, we justobeyed God on that word
and we thought there'dbe maybe 20 people there
and we ended up baptizingthousands of people
there on the beach and havecontinued to do so to this day.
- Incredible.
Jessi, what kind of miraclesdid you see on the beach?
- Yeah, I believe we'reactually in the midst
of a huge deliverance movement.
I believe that God wantsto set every person free
from depression, anxiety,suicidal thoughts.
As people were baptized in the water,
demons were being cast out of them.
They were being set free.
Bodies were being healed,
broken backs, brokenankles, marriages restored,
people confessing ofadultery right in public
and just repenting and crying out to God.
It was one of the mostbeautiful things I've ever seen.
- Now tell us about the opposition.
This didn't come without opposition.
We know there's an enemy out there
who doesn't like thingslike this to happen.
And it was really
because of the COVID-19restrictions in California,
and you say that you couldhave ended up in jail.
Tell us what happened.
- Yeah, we really thoughtthat there were just gonna be
about 50 people there at the most,
and so the crowds grew
because people were so desperate for hope.
And so as the crowds grew,
the government reallystarted to come down on us,
especially with therestrictions in California,
and we had police at our door.
I had just had a two-month-old baby
and they were threateningto lock us in jail.
We had multiple citations.
All of this was on public property
where there were justriots the week before.
And we just said, "Wehave to share the gospel.
"Jesus is alive, and he'shere to set people free,
"and we can't not share the gospel
"when people are in so much pain."
And so their resistance was really strong,
but the salvations increasedwith every persecution.
- Well, you've justwritten a brand new book,
"Wildfires: A Field Guideto Supernatural Revival."
I see Lou Engle did your foreword.
He's a wonderful revivalist himself.
Tell us a little bit more about your book.
- Yeah, actually it was inthe middle of this revival
that the Lord told me
to start to write everyexperience, every lesson.
I'm in my mid-30s,
and I feel like I'm insupernatural bootcamp
when it comes to revival.
But I believe that this revivalthat we're entering into,
that we're seeing just the birth pains of,
is for every believer,it's for every saint
to share the gospel, to see miracles,
to see supernatural signs and wonders,
and I just wanna take people on a journey
on how they can leadrevival in their own cities.
I'm not a famous person.
No one knows who I am.
I just went out on a beach and obeyed God,
and I believe thatinvitation is for everyone,
and I pray that they getignited by reading "Wildfires."
- Jessi's book is called "Wildfires."
It's available wherever books are sold.
Jessi, thank you so muchfor stirring up revival
and may it spread all acrossthe nation and the world.
God bless you.- Thank you.
