- Welcome to this editionof "The 700 Club".

Just imagine a vehiclesmashing through your fence,

barreling across your property

and packed with migrants and smugglers

armed to the teeth withhigh powered weapons.

Where's that going on?

That's what's happening in Texas

at the Southern borderof the United States.

At long last, the VicePresident has said, quote,

don't come.

But this week's gestureis too little too late.

So how do we fix it?

CBN's Abigail Robertson reportsfrom the Southern border.

- Here in South Texas,

the increasing number crossing the border

isn't just affecting law enforcement.

Local landowners must also dealdaily with uninvited guests

trespassing on their property.

- Just seems to begetting worse and worse.

- [Abigail] Justin Cappadonadescribed to CBN News

his experience living in a border town.

- We've had groups comeup into our backyard

on the backside and approachus looking for food and water.

- [Abigail] And he says thegroups are getting bigger.

- I've seen anywhere between15 and as many as 30 people

come out of a vehicle.

- Many ranchers are also experiencing

damage to their personal property,

constantly repairing fences and gates

that are struck by vehicles, fleeing law enforcement

and the property ownersare left footing the bill.

- What ends up happening is you can see

the vehicles will be coming down.

If they're being chased byBorder Patrol or or a sheriff

or DPS, what happensa lot of times is that

at some point they decidethat they can't get away

so they'll end up crushingthrough the fence.

They usually take outa couple of posts here,

bring the fence down, and then they'll get on

a caliche roads such asthis and they'll continue on

and then they'll go out into the ranch.

- [Abigail] A neighboring rancher

who requested to remainanonymous tells CBN News

the trespassing groups

are getting more frequent and aggressive

armed with high poweredweapons and on their property

they're finding everythingfrom drugs to dead bodies.

- Well, how do you fix it?

I don't know.

You know, I think probablya combination of border wall

and immigration policies.

- [Abigail] In March,Governor Greg Abbott,

launched Operation Lone Star,

deploying the Texas National Guard

and Department of PublicSafety to help improve

air, ground and marine security.

- What DPS is doing isabsolutely necessary.

The governor is right by tryingto do something down here

but it has a ripple effect

that causes a negativeimpact on our communities

throughout the state of Texas.

- Sheriff Roy Boyd is 200 milesfrom the Rio Grande Valley

and his County still feelsthe problems at the border.

- In Goliad County is,we're having stash sites

that the cartel is usingto store illegal aliens,

to strip stolen trucks,

to store and to move drugs

towards the larger market in Houston.

- [Abigail] But the resources

now addressing immigration issues

mean less law enforcementhelping local citizens.

- To be quite frank,

the problem that we have

with all of the effortsthat we're doing right now

is none of these efforts

are actually designed to winthe war that we are facing

with our neighboring country of Mexico

and the cartels that reside there.

- [Abigail] And the addedsecurity is expensive.

- Texas is spending $2.5 million a week

just with the Highway Patrol

that's stationed here at the border.

In addition to that, we havethe National Guard who's here

by order of the governor.

That's another roughly $2 million a week

that we're spending just inhelping secure the border.

- [Abigail] TexasCongressman Michael Cloud

recently led a group ofrepresentatives to the border

to see the crisis firsthand.

- Just a few months ago,

this crisis point wasmitigated as a crisis.

You know, you're always gonna have

a little bit of tension at the border,

but the overwhelming crisisthat we're seeing now

did not exist,

because of the policiesthat were put in place

by the Trump administration.

- [Abigail] He warns thisisn't just Texas's problem.

- Now, the Biden solutionto the surge at the border

has been to transporteveryone throughout the US.

So this issue that we've knownhere in Texas for a while

has been exacerbated, butnow it's being transported

throughout communities throughout Texas.

So it's been said that everytown is now a border town

and you can see how that's playing out.

- [Abigail] Cloud arguesthe answer is simple,

return to policies that worked

and finish Trump's border wall.

Reporting from McAllen, Texas,Abigail Robertson, CBN News.

- Isn't that amazing.

President Trump knewwhat was being necessary.

He wanted to put a wall up,

and oh how they fought him,

how they, they wouldn't givehim any money to build a wall

if he built it, he could havekept some of these people out.

But no, and he used to havea policy that if they came

they couldn't get into thiscountry, he didn't allow it.

And the Biden administrationhas said, look, we're free,

we're open for businessand we welcome you.

Now they're saying we didn't welcome you.

But so president Bidenappointed the Vice President

to take care of the border situation.

So did she go to the border?

She traveled to Guatemala and Mexico,

but why didn't she goto the Southern border?

And when I asked her about it,

why does she just giggle?

Efrem Graham has more.

- Pat, Vice President Harris

wrapped up her trip to Mexicoand Guatemala, Tuesday.

Critics point out, some from our own party

she still has not visited the border

since president Joe Biden tasked her with

tackling the migrant crisis.

When NBC's Lester Holt asked her

why she hasn't been to the border,

the vice-president gave a contradictory

and confusing answer.

- We've been to the border.

So this whole thing about the border,

we've been to the border.

We've been to the border.

- You haven't been to the border.

- And I haven't been to Europe.

I don't understand thepoint that you're making,

I'm not discounting theimportance of the border

- [Efrem Administration officials say

the Vice President's role is to fight

the root causes of illegal immigration

by working with Latin American leaders

to address corruption, crime, and poverty in those nations.

Turning now to Virginia.

A judge ordered a LoudonCounty teacher reinstated

after he was suspendedfor refusing to refer

to transgender students bytheir chosen name and gender.

Citing his Christian faith,

Tanner Cross told the schoolboard, he would never quote,

affirm that a biological boycan be a girl and vice versa.

It happened during a boardmeeting in May over a proposal

requiring teachers toaddress transgender students

by their selected names and genders.

The judge called the suspensionan unconstitutional action

which silenced others fromspeaking on the issue.

And staying in Virginia,

Democrat Terry McAuliffewon his party's nomination

for governor Tuesday.

McAuliffe served as Virginia'sgovernor from 2014 to 2018.

He'll face Republicanbusinessman, Glen Youngkin

in November's election.

McAuliffe called hisopponent too conservative

for a state that's elected

two democratic governors in a row.

Youngkin says those governorshave made Virginia less safe

and less economically competitive.

Pat, back to you.

- Well, it's an interesting statement.

There's some in Virginia that wonder,

would it be possible for Virginia

to give Loudoun County to Maryland?

That it might make a nice transfer.

They actually gave theSouthwestern counties

to West Virginia.

So, I mean, they say, well, maybe we can give Loudoun away.

But the Republicans have named

a black former studentof Regent University

as their Lieutenant governor running mate,

and Glen Youngkin is a brilliant economic,

I mean moneymaker.

He was in charge of a major hedge fund,

and he's a very wealthyman and very intelligent,

and I think the stuff that'sgoing on in Loudoun County

and some of the otherthings that are taking place

and this critical race theory

that's being jammed down people's throats,

the people in Virginia maybe, maybe they'll finally rise up,

but it's been remarkable howthis country has gone from

strong conservative to strong liberal,

but the state may change.

And I live here,

so I'd like to see something happen.

Efrem.

- Pat, President Biden

begins his first international trip today

departing for the UnitedKingdom and the G7 Summit.

He's scheduled to meetwith UK Prime Minister,

Boris Johnson, and The Queen,

then he goes to Brussels fora gathering of NATO Alliance.

The eight day trip concludes

with a summit with Russian President

Vladimir Putin in Geneva,

where the agenda includes

Russia-based cyber attacks on US entities.

Turning now to theAsian nation of Myanmar.

Military and security forcescontinue attacks on civilians

protesting the February coup.

Thousands are seeking refuge in camps

on the Thailand border.

As Lucille Talusan reports,

CBN's Operation BlessingThailand is undertaking

a hazardous mission to help them.

We've hidden the identitiesfor security reasons.

- [Lucille] Myine is amongthose who fled Myanmar

to escape the military atrocities.

She and her four childrenleft without her husband,

a soldier fighting forthe rights of the people.

- We dug holes under the ground

where we hid most of the time

because bullets and bombsfell in our village.

The military raided our house

and this is when we decidedto escape for our safety.

We walked for three days andcrossed the border to Thailand.

I am a Christian and I prayed so hard

for us to arrive in this camp safely.

We had to leave our cows and chickens.

And now I feel frustrated

that we live in shelters of other people

and share very limited food.

- It's a Christian campof the Myanmar Karen tribe

that is taking care ofthousands of refugees.

The big challenge, however

is giving shelter to whole villages,

who now live in the forest.

With no source of income, they lack food,

medicines and other basic needs.

Despite the danger of beingcaught in the cross fire,

a team from Operation Blessing Thailand

was able to give muchneeded help to the refugees.

In coordination with theKaren leaders and soldiers,

the Operation Blessingteam brought sacks of rice,

tents, medicines and other basic needs

to distribute to the refugeesliving along the border

between Thailand and Myanmar.

That included crossing this river

to provide relief to refugees

on the Myanmar side of the border.

They also prayed for therefugees including young students

now training for theKaren National Union Army

to fight for the people's government.

- The military has always been dictators.

They want to terminateall tribes or enslave us,

disunite all religions.

That's because they wantto be in power forever.

But now we have to make the best efforts

to unite and fight the enemy, the military

who has been oppressing the people

and killing anyone is against them.

Thank you very much for helpingus in this difficult time

as we are being persecuted.

We have no homes and no money.

We face sickness and have no medicines,

no roof to protect usfrom the sun and the rain.

- [Lucille] As a soldier,Wai Yan feels obligated

to protect the refugees

and the rest of the people of Myanmar.

- We need to stand against the coup

though our lives, our health, our economy are suffering.

We demand equality andthe citizens' rights.

Thank you Operation Blessingfor caring for the needy.

The Bible says, I tell you the truth,

what do you have done to these little ones

you have done to me.

I believe God has put your ministry's name

in his book of life.

May you and your familybe filled with blessings.

- [Lucille] Lucille Talusan, CBN News.

- What you have donefor the least of these,

you have done it onto me, Pat.

- You know, the Karenpeople go way, way back.

They almost have a biblical Christianity,

and they've been persecuted terribly.

And that group ofcolonels took over Myanmar

that used to be called Burma

have been nothing but dictators,

and the fact that peoplewho are Christians

are now fleeing from Burma, what they're calling Myanmar

into the Karen area and theKaren have been persecuted

but now they're beginning to stand up.

But the thing is we at Operation Blessing

were able to reach out

and help those persecutedChristians in Burma

who are trying to survive

against that deadly military coup.

And if you want to give us a hand on that

and I wish you would,

we have brought sacks ofrice, tents, medicines,

basic supplies and we prayed with them.

So we have a disaster relief fund,

it's 1-800-700-7000

and let's do what we can,

we're not going to let those

Myanmar or Burmese Christian suffer

and we're going to helpif we can the Karen,

a region that we want tosee them strengthened,

we want to feed them, clothe them and help them

before they starve to death.
