New Hollywood Film Exposes the Lies and Deception Behind Controversial Roe v. Wade Case

- We will hear argumentsin Roe against Wade.
- I was really surprised thatno one had really made a movie
about the most famous courtcase in American history.
- [Paul] While Nick Loeb wrote
and directed "Roe V. Wade,"
he also portrays thedoctor who's manipulation
of information and lies about polls
help make the country believe abortion
was more popular withAmericans than it really was.
- This is a conspiracy.
- [Man] We found a girl in Texas.
- We'll give her apseudonym, call Jane Rowe.
- Now they're coming after the unborn.
You say you're gonna do nothing?
- [Paul] That doctor is Bernard Nathanson,
who is shown in the movie,eventually has a change of heart,
complete with grief and guiltover aborting his own child
and paving the way for millions of others.
Loeb can relate.
- Yeah, I didn't wake upone day and become pro-life,
that happened over time ofme dealing with abortions
that I had been involvedin and the realization
that I had participated in thekilling of my own children.
- The writer/director sayshe didn't really set out
to make a movie that couldbe labeled pro-Roe V. Wade
or anti-Roe V Wade or even faith-based.
- We try not to be preachy.
We tried to go downthe middle of the road.
We tried just to lay out the facts.
- These girls should not beput through the pregnancy
and should be entitled to an abortion.
- Doctors must protect life
from the point of conception.
- Who's speaking for these children?
- [Paul] The main facthe hopes viewers get.
- That life begins at conception,
and, if they can understandthat there's a baby there,
I think it could open alot of hearts and minds
and change folks.
- This is beyond the authorityof the Supreme Court.
- We are the law of the land.
- After this weekend's world premiere,
"Roe V. Wade" will launch onnumerous platforms April 2nd.
