ARE THE PEOPLE IN HEAVEN AND HELL LOOKING AT US AND SEEING WHAT WE ARE DOING? WHAT AGE WILL WE BE IN HEAVEN? Read Transcript

- And today he's gonna answer-

- Okay, alright

- Your email questions right now.

Okay you ready?

Pat this first one comesfrom Helen who says,

"Pat how can I, as an American,

protest Trump's impeachment trial.

I am appalled that once again,

the Democrats are wastingtaxpayers' money and time.

Why can't we all try to meet in the middle

and save our country from destruction?"

- Um first, it's real simple.

Let your Congressmanand your Senator know,

that you are opposed to that stand,

and that they're going to catch wrath

from the voters next election.

The one thing that congressmen like

to do is to stay in office.

(woman laughs)

And the one thing that frightens them

if they hear from severalof their constituents

so what can you do?

Get together a bunch of people,

especially blue collar people.

Not just business people, but blue collar people.

The working class andlet them write letters

to their Congressman and say,

"Look I've had enough of this,

stop wasting the money of the people,

and help me with the problems in my life,"

and you say, how can you do something?

That's how you do it, all right?

- Okay. This is Hilda who says,

"Are the people in heaven and hell,

looking at us and seeing what we're doing?

If so, how can the onesin heaven be happy if they

have unsaved loved ones on earth?"

- Oh, I don't think they're watching us,

at least I think it's a

little intrusive into our privacy,

but I do know from the story of--

that is in Lazarus that, you know,

he said "I've got brothersand sisters, can I get...

and Abraham's said, there's agreat Gulf between us fixed."

They can't come to youand you can't go to them,

but he said, "Well they've got Moses

and they've got the prophets.

If they won't hear them,

they won't hear if somebodyrises from the dead,"

but the answer is no, they'renot watching over you.

But I'm sure it grieves them

that people are not goingto be going to heaven.

They want people to goto heaven and they know,

but once you die, you die, alright?

- Okay this is William who says,

"Hi Pat, I'm very concerned because

my parents claim to be Christians,

but to not follow biblical practice.

They say they do not believeevery part of the Bible,

as the 100% word of God.

and I'm concerned that thiswill send them to hell.

I've tried to get them to church

and to watch the 700club, but they refuse.

They say they believe inGod, but sometimes I wonder.

What should I say to them to help them?"

- Uh well, I think youshould find the scripture,

but just the fact thatthey say we believe in God,

the devil believes in God.

So you know that's not enough.

They've got to be born again.

Accept a man, be born again.

I'd show him that part of the scripture

and say, "Here, here'swhat it says, look at that:

accept a man be born again,

He cannot enter thekingdom of God," period.

So it hasn't got anything to do with

whether or not theybelieve all the Bible or

don't believe the Bible, that's not what saves people.

What saves them isbelieving that Jesus Christ,

died for their sins andthey receive him as savior

and make him Lord of theirlives and are born again.

That's what they better do, alright?

- This is Linda who says,"Do people that are in hell,

who didn't accept Jesus as their savior,

but were good moral people here on earth-

do they have the same punishmentas someone like Hitler?"

(both laugh)

- I tell ya, hell is pretty horrible.

Whether you're a good person or not

because the Lord talksabout a lake of fire,

He talks about demonic spirits,

He talks about torment forever,

and so the fact that one is alittle harder than the other-

I just don't think that's the question

that we need to even be concerned about.

It's all horrible.

Hell is horrible for the

good moral people who don't accept Jesus,

and for the Hitlers, andthe bad guys alright?

- This is Janice, Pat who says,

"What age will we be in heaven?

If we die as a child, willwe be a child in heaven?

or if we die at 100 yearsold, will we be 100 in heaven?

- Well, the Bible says,"We'll see him as he is,"

and when he died he waslike about 32 years old,

and it's my feeling and I don't have

any real scripture to backit up, but somebody that dies

at a hundred degreesis a hundred years old

will come out like a young man at 30 and--

(lady laughs)

somebody who is three years old

will come out of somebody 30.

That's my feeling,

but I don't have anyscripture to back it up,

but it says, "We will be like him,

cause' we'll see him as he is," alright?

- This is Tom who says, "Mywife has separated from me,"

and says, "I need to letGod work on me and prune me.

I admit I have beenemotionally abusive to her.

I never knew how much thiswould hurt me until she left.

I'm willing to let God work within me.

How will I know that he's finished with me

to the extent that my wifewill want to be with me again?"

(Pat laughs)

- Look, when you have joy in the Lord,

and when the presence of God is a blessing

and you enjoy reading the Bible,

and you're living for the Lord,

then you'll know in your ownheart, but I cannot tell you

what's gonna please your wife

cause' you are married to her and I'm not.

(Pat laughs)

So how could I give you the answer,

but why don't you try reconciliation,

but sort of, look get your act together,

and look, whatever youwere doing that was wrong

apologize and say, "LookI'm trying to reform.

Would you please forgive meand come back, I need you,"

alright?

- That's all the time we have for today,

but great questions.

- Lot of good questions.- Lot of good answers.

- Thank you.

- And next Wednesday willbe the big day, right?

- Wednesday will be day after, I mean,

hour after hour of wonderful questions.

(lady laughs)
