Well, that "Post" report seems to contain

never before seen emails,

that may confirm ameeting between Joe Biden

and an executive with theUkrainian gas company, Burisma.

That is the company thatreportedly paid Hunter Biden

$50,000 a month to sit onits board of directors,

while his father was VP.

Now both Bidens insist however,

they never discussed Hunter'sbusiness dealings in detail.

- Biden and his sonare stone cold crooked.

- [Eric] It's a tune the President

has been singing for some time,

insisting Hunter Biden

profited on business interestsin Ukraine improperly,

while his father was Vice President,

and the Obama administration'spoint person on Ukraine.

A question asked directly to Hunter,

during this exclusive "ABCNews" interview, one year ago.

- I wanna get to the heart of it,

did you and your fatherever discuss Ukraine?

- No, as I said, the only time,

it was after a news account,and it wasn't a discussion

in any way, there's no butto this, no we never did.

- Your dad said, "I hope,you know what you're doing."

- [Hunter] I hope youknow what you're doing.

- And you said, "I do."- And I said, "I do."

And that was literallythe end of our discussion.

- [Eric] The "New York Post" report shows

an email dating back to 2015,

indicating Hunter arranged a meeting

between his father andthe Burisma executive.

The April 2015 email readsin part, "Dear Hunter,

Thank you for inviting me to D.C.,

and giving me an opportunityto meet your father,

and spend some time together."

That timing would havebeen just months before

then Vice President Bidenpressured Ukraine's government

to fire a prosecutorinvestigating Burisma.

A year earlier, another emailfrom that same executive

asked Hunter how he couldquote, "Use his influence

to benefit Burisma."

This, amid claims thatHunter was not well versed

in natural gas nor Ukraine.

- I think that I had as much knowledge

as anybody else who wason the board, if not more.

- If your last name wasn't Biden,

do you think you would have been asked

to be on the board of Burisma?

- I don't know, I don'tknow, probably not.

- The Biden campaign is firing back,

saying Joe Biden carriedout official U.S. policy

toward Ukraine, andengaged in no wrongdoing.

Staffers also claimed

that after reviewing theVice President's schedule

from back then, no suchmeeting between him

and the Ukraine executive happened.

And I should mention thatthe controversial emails

were discovered on a laptop,

that was dropped at a repairshop in Delaware, back in 2019.

Also, the Senate Homeland Security

and Governmental Affairs Committee

is investigating the emails,and their point of origin,

Jenna and John.
