- Hi, this is Pat Robertson
of the Christian Broadcasting Network.
You know, this is a somber time.
We are faced with multiplechallenges in our world.
First of all, a terriblepandemic that is spreading
like wildfire all over the world,
and the infection ratehas grown exponentially,
and people are being locked down,
so that means the economies are suffering.
We're facing what may be aglobal financial collapse,
and on top of that, we have enemies
that are building weaponsof mass destruction.
We have the Chinese that are saying,
"We're going to extend ourempire and overwhelm you."
We have the Russians saying,
"Well, we're buildingnuclear type of missiles,"
and submarine base their weapons.
We have other people that are challenged
in the United States, and in our nation,
we're having riots, shootings, looting in our streets,
and we have civil disobedience, but what are we gonna do?
What do we do?
There's only one answer.
That answer is in the Lord Jesus Christ.
God Almighty is in charge, and I want to say confidently
that God is not giving up on this world.
God is not giving up on America, but we need to seek God.
We need to return to the Lord,
and I'm so grateful for Jonathan
and his team for getting us all together
that we would pray and seek the Lord.
That's why we're here.
We're here to cry out to God and say,
"God, we all ask you humbly.
We seek your face.
We want to turn from our wicked ways,
and we understand the challenges.
There's enemies outside, enemies within,
terrible plague and faminewasting our nation."
But God almighty is in charge,
and so today, we want to pray,
and I want you to pray with you,
and every one of you, that we would believe God.
And Father, you said, whenyou were speaking to Solomon,
"If my people, whichare called by my name,
will humble themselvesand pray and seek my face,
then I'll hear from heaven,
and I'll forgive their sinand I'll heal their land."
Lord, we understand thechallenges, challenges of rebels,
challenges of revolution in our society,
hatred, violence, haves against have nots,
law and order against anarchy, but God, you are in charge.
And so we come to you humbly, and we say,
"Lord, this is your world.
This is your land.
We ask you would come andheal our land and take charge,
for Lord, we don't know what to do,
but our eyes are upon you,"
and so we turn humbly today and say,
"Almighty God, do amiracle and heal our land."
In Jesus' name, amen.
God bless all of you.
This is Pat Robertson, thank you.
