- [Reporter] Natasha Bureis a singer, actress,

and social media personality.

She also has a famous mom, actress Candace Cameron Bure.

In 2016, Natasha auditioned

on the popular show, "The Voice".

Not yet 22, she's alreadyhad roles in three movies.

Her latest work is themovie "Home Sweet Home",

in which she plays a young woman

who senses there's moreto life than she's found,

but she doesn't know what.

- All right, well NatashaBure joins me now.

Natasha, it's so go to have you with us.

- Thanks for having me on.

- Yeah, all right, well as we mentioned,

your mother is Candace Cameron,

your father is an NHL player, Valeri Bure,

what was it like growing upin a celebrity household?

I mean, was John Stamos over, how about the Olsen twins?

Like, what was that like?

- Honestly, my childhood,

and even having parentsthat were celebrities,

it was very normal.

And I get a lot of questions about that,

I feel like people thinkit was very glamorous

and things like that,

but it was super normal

and I was grounded like every other kid.

I'm sure it was a little bit different

than a typical kid's experience,

because I was I guess, I don't know,

seeing different celebrities,of my parent's friends,

but other than that, very, very normal.

- Awesome, awesome.

Well as you've gotten older

and you've kind of gone your own way,

how have you kept faith thecentral part of your life?

Well my faith is the mostimportant thing in my life

and I grew up in a Christian household,

and my parents constantly takingus to church every Sunday,

I went to a Christian school,

so I've been surroundedby faith my entire life,

but that's not to say Ihaven't struggled with it

and I think as I've gotten older

my relationship with Christ

is just the thing that keeps me grounded

and it's definitely what'smost important to me,

and I just hope that I can just be a light

in a world that needs Jesus.

- Yeah, definitely.

Well you definitely are.

Well sometime after youjoined social media,

you say that it happened, which was getting bombarded

with pictures of air brushed reality,

and basically that's what social media is.

It's a false reality.

What did you do about that?

- It's hard.

Every day is a struggle.

I'd wake up and you seegirls on billboards,

and magazines, and Instagram

who have flawless skinand these perfect bodies,

there's not even a perfect body type,

but society kind of feeds you these images

and you start to compare.

And I think for me themost important thing

is just to appreciate thebody and the person that I am

and how God made me,

and I want to make sure

that I'm always preaching that message

to all the other girls,

that we just should love ourselves

and be just embracing who we are.

- I love that.

Well, I mean, social media ispowerful in really good ways,

but also in not so good ways.

How have you been able to stay grounded

while growing such a largefollowing and fan base?

- Honestly, I owe everythingto my relationship with God,

and my parents, and my family.

I'm super close with my parents,

and they've just raised me and brothers

in such an awesome way.

And luckily my mom's upbringing,

and both my dad's upbringing as well,

was just really, just reallyrooted in staying humble,

and having great support systems,

and they definitely brought that over

when raising me and my brothers,so I owe it all to them.

- So awesome.

Well let's talk about your movie.

Okay, so, it's called "Home Sweet Home",

it was released earlier this year

and in it you play a youngwoman named Victoria.

What can you tell usabout her and the film?

- Yeah, it's a cute little film.

Victoria, I play her,she is a flirty barista,

she's very self-centered and into herself.

And she's kinda used togetting a lot of guys,

and being in and out of relationships,

and while she's working she meets Jason,

who he works in ministry.

And she has no idea about ministry,

and she kind of gets overlooked,

she doesn't really get his attention.

And so, she tries to fake her way

through knowing all these things

about construction andministry to get his attention.

And the story unfolds

and she learns not only a lot about faith,

but about herself.

- I love that.

Well what advice would you give

to younger woman who arewanting to get in the industry?

- I don't know.

I honestly think it's hard

because I've always had mymom to just kind of guide me,

and if anything I've just learned

from watching her experience,

but I think just, if it'ssomething that you want to do

just really actively pursue it,

and especially because

there's just so manyplatforms that we have,

just to put yourself out there

and to say yes to every single opportunity

that you're given.

And knock on doors ifthere are opportunities

because if you want somethingyou've got to go get it.

- Yeah, definitely.

Well what is the message

that you want people to take away from

after watching the film?

- I think a great message isjust to embrace who you are,

but be okay with any stageof life that you're in.

I think a lot of timeswe as humans feel like

we always need to look likewe have it all together

when we definitely don't,

and we're all learning and growing,

and in the movie

Victoria definitely doesnot have it all together,

and she fakes her way.

And you know, I don't wantto, again, give it away,

but she learns a lot about herself,

and we all have to be okay

in the stage of life that we're in

and just be okay with growing.

- I love that, I love that.

Well, when did you get into acting?

How did this start?

Did you always know

that you were gonna followin your mom's footsteps?

- Yes and no.

I always loved entertainment, and acting, and singing.

When I was younger Iactually really wanted to be

a professional tennis player.

I trained at a really young age.

So probably until I was inlike beginning of high school

they were both like 50/50,

but I did commercials when I was younger

and then once I graduated high school

I decided to not go to college

and just pursue entertainment full time.

- I love that.

Well Natasha, thank you somuch for being with us today.
