- Time for some emails.

You ready?- Lets go for it, real fast.

- Okay, this first onecomes from Patti, Pat.

She says, "Should a Christiansell wine at wine-tasting

parties and recruit other workers

who hold leadershippositions in the church?"

This must be like one ofthose self-business thing.

- Whatever it is, folks, here's the deal.

If somebody is an alcoholic, one drink of wine,

will set that person offand destroy his life.

That's the way it is.

And as a Christian, you can drink wine.

Jesus drank wine.

He talked about, I won't drink this new

until I drink it in the kingdom of God.

There's a lot in there.

The wine and people in Germanydrank beer and so forth,

but alcoholism is a dreadful disease,

and if somebody sees you drinking wine

and takes a drink ofwine himself or herself,

that can destroy that person's life.

So the whole idea is youdon't use your freedom

to destroy somebody else.

And you say, is it okay to do it?

I really think, no, it shouldn't be,

you shouldn't be out sellingwine, whatever the deal

is you're involved with or whatever.

- Business opportunity or whatever, right?

- Yeah well whatever.

I mean, but as a Christiandrinking a glass of wine

with a meal, nothing wrong with that.

If your conscious doesn't condemn you,

you know, that's the deal, okay?

- This is Alyssa who says,

"I'm 13. And I've been atChristian about my whole life,

but 2020 is the year I'vereally become closer to Jesus.

When I grow up, I want totravel around the world,

telling of our Lord and Savior.

This year has been really crazy.

Do you believe this is our last year,

and that Jesus is coming in 2020?

Are we in the tribulation?"

- I think over the yearswith the destruction of Rome,

people thought the tribulation had come.

I don't think we're in any tribulation.

And I think the Lordwill give you something,

but the Bible says occupy till I come

and that's the deal.

You don't have to spendthe time contemplating

what to do next, I mean, you just live your life,

and if you go and witness forthe Lord, wherever you are,

bloom where you're planted.

- Even at 13, there areplenty of people around you

that you can serve.

- Plenty of kids that, ifyou're a witness for the Lord,

it'll be marvelous, all right.

- This is Gary who says,

"Pat, why does it say in James1:13 that God tempts no one.

Why does it say in the Lord's Prayer,

'And lead us not into temptation?'"

- The Dred Scotts edition of that says,

"Let us not be sifted."

And what he's prayingis, let us not be sifted.

Let us not be put into the devil's torment

that he would tempt us, but,

of course, we're notsupposed to tempt the Lord.

You know, that's a total different thing.

God doesn't tempt anybodywith anything, all right.

- This is Julius who says,

"Hi Pat, is it all right with the Lord

if I'm not able to continue paying tithes

due to my income decreasing?"

- I tell you, if you'resmart, you will give,

and you will watch what God will do.

And when the money leaves your hand,

he gets into God's hands.

And he has a multiplication factor

that 30, 60, and a hundred fold.

So it isn't a question isit a sin not to or not to?

We're not compelled to give,

we give because we love the Lord.
