- God is on the move in Central Georgia.

For several weeks now,

thousands of people have been gathering

in the small town of Roberta, Georgia

for the Central Georgia Awakening Revival.

I spoke with EvangelistD.R. Harrison for more.

How did all this come about?

- It started back at thebeginning of the year.

Pastor Chet Cooper of theCrossroads Bible Church

invited us down to preach a meeting

back in the first of the year

and God just moved mightilyand souls began to be saved

and Brother Chet at theend of the meeting said,

"Brother D.R., wouldyou pray about bringing

"the big gospel tent to Central Georgia?"

And I said, "Absolutely."

And COVID started hitting strong

and we just began topray and seek God's face

and one thing led toanother and businessmen

and the community startedgathering around it

and on June the 1st wehad the first service

and God has just movedin an unbelievable way.

- So what exactly has been happening?

How many people have accepted Jesus Christ

as their Lord and savior?

- As of today, under the tent

there's been 260 people walk the aisle

and trust the Lord astheir personal savior

and we're talking aboutalcoholics, drug addicts,

one man was 79 years oldthat walked the aisle,

an 83 year old woman got born again.

People are getting saved

and God is just movingin unbelievable ways.

It's just unbelievableto see what God's doing.

- And have you witnessed signs

and wonders and miracles as well?

- Well, just familiesbeing put back together,

marriages being put back together,

men and women that didn't believe in God

before all this COVID disaster hit

and now they're seeingGod work in their town

in ways they never experienced before,

and it's just amazing to seehow people have come together

in unity for one purpose,

and that's to beg God tosend revival to our nation.

- And you're in your seventhweek now, is that correct?

- That is correct.

We are in our seventh week.

- And plans for an eighth then next week?

- Yes sir, we will be goinginto week number eight

and we're just excited tosee what God's gonna do.

- Now are you practicing CDC guidelines,

like social distancing?

- Absolutely.

So whenever I agree to bring the tent,

Governor Kemp from Georgia,

he allowed us to have thetent with 20% capacity.

Our tent seats over 1,500 people,

so we only allow 300 people under the tent

and then people sitting outside the tent.

But to be honest withyou, there's been nights

where there's been so manypeople coming and going,

it's just been unbelievable.

But we've got the rows six foot apart,

we have sanitizationstations throughout the tent.

We have masks available forpeople that wanna wear masks

or people that wanna bring their masks.

But people bring their chairs,they sit outside the tent,

they sit in their cars.

People's just coming from everywhere

to see God move in thesedays that we're living in.

- And I understand peoplefrom around the world

are also witnessing the revival.

Talk about that.

- Yes.

There's been people literallyflying in and driving in

from all over America.

But we've been live streamingthe services every night

through Facebook and people have tuned in

from literally over 15countries around the world,

all 50 states, people are tuning in.

And there's been peoplegetting saved online.

The number of people saved under the tent,

we don't know how many's been saved

over the internet watching.

It's just incredible what God's doing.

In the midst of the chaos,

in the midst of all of the stuff going on,

God is still alive, He'sstill on the throne,

and revival is still possible.

It's literally right outside of Macon.

It's in between Macon and Warner Robins.

and everything is leading upto the Washington, DC Crusade.

We have partnered with Jonathan Cahn

and The Return they'redoing September 26th.

The big tent here's going toWashington on September 21st,

we're setting it up acrossfrom the Washington Monument

and we believe God'sgonna shake the nation

in the next few months.

- What does all this say,

that in the midst of everythinggoing on in today's world,

a revival like this is taking place?

- Every revival that'sever taken place in history

has always come, andeven in the Word of God,

has always come whenthings were at its worst.

And we can all agree, Americais in desperate need today

and it is a perfect time forGod to send a mighty awakening,

a great awakening.

It's a perfect time forGod to send His power

and to get glory and to causeHis people to turn back to Him

and to repent of their sin

and to show this worldthat there's not hope

in the Republican, aDemocrat, the government,

a vaccine, or anything like that.

The hope today is stillthe Lord Jesus Christ.

He is the answer for all of our problems.
