- The outrage over George Floyd's death
is reaching a boiling point,
as protestors across thecountry demand justice.
Nightly chaos in thestreets of Minneapolis.
Buildings and cars set on fire.
Thick, black smoke filling the air.
And the city's mayor declaringa state of emergency.
This as clashes erupt across the country.
From New York to Los Angeles.
CNN correspondent, OmarJimenez, who's African American
arrested reporting live on the air.
- Do you mind telling mewhy I'm under arrest sir?

You are arresting him live on CNN
we told you before that we are with CNN.
- [Jenna] Video shows Floydon the ground handcuffed,
then loosing consciousness
with officer DerekShoven's knee on his neck.
Floyd repeatedly begging for air.
Today Shoven was arrestedand taken into custody.
- You all knew George Floyd personally.
- [Jenna] The CBN Charlene Aaron
spoke with ministry friends of Floyd
who worked with himwhen he lived in Houston
- For a lot of youngmen in third ward area,
George was a mentor.
He was a person of encouragement.
He was personal data, dissolved issues.
But he also was to manyyoung men, a father figure,
an uncle, older voiceof reason and wisdom.
- [Jenna] This pastor telling CBN news
Floyd was in Minnesota as partof a discipleship process.
- We just wanna make surethat people understand
that this man had a profoundimpact in his community
and that Jesus had aprofound impact on his life.
- [Jenna] Both the justice department
and the FBI are now investigating.
- We are conducting a robustand meticulous investigation
into the circumstancessurrounding the events
of May 25th, 2020
and the police officers'actions on that evening.
- [Jenna] As the governor ofMinnesota pleads for peace,
- I'm asking you to help us.
Help us use humane way to get the streets
to a place where wecan restore the justice
so that those that areexpressing rage and anger
and demanding justice are heard,
not those who throw firebombs into businesses--
- And in Louisville Kentucky,
more racial unrest afterseven protesters were shot.
These ones demanding justicefor the death of a woman
who was shot by police earlier this year.
