- I've been doing handyman stuff,

for the last five, six years now.

Fix things a lot of guys can't fix,

I've been able to fix,

I've had that abilityever since I was a kid.

I'd take models out of the box

without the instructions,and put them together.

I need to be physically fit,

(saw whirring)

because I'm up and down ladders,

or I'm crawling, or I'm hauling lumber

all the time, or whatever, packing it in.

Recently I had quite a bout with gout.

I got out of bed, stepped on the floor,

and my foot was all swollen,and I couldn't walk on it.

It's painful, and whenI get it, I can't move,

I can't get around.

It is like somebody's stabbingme with all these needles,

you know, and I needed to work that week

and I couldn't work, Icouldn't even get my boot on,

so I stayed home.

I just prayed, every day.

I said, "God, I need to get back to work

"unless you want me here for a reason.

"I don't know why, but Ineed to get back to work."

So, the Fourth of July I wasinvited to a bunch of barbecues

and I just had to turn 'emdown 'cause I couldn't walk.

And so I'm sittin' there in the afternoon

and I turned on the 700 Club,

and Gordon and Terry weregettin' ready to pray.

And so I just got in themode of prayin' with them,

and Gordon had prayedand then Terry prayed,

and she said,

- "Someone else with a recurring problem

"with gout, so painful, youjust almost cannot move.

"God's healing that for you.

"Not only healing what you'reexperiencing right now,

"but healing you of thecondition that's reoccurring.

"You'll not have it again.

"And someone else--"

- I just jumped up,even though my foot hurt

and I praised God and I yelled out to God,

and sat back down, they finished prayin',

and then I went to bed early that night,

and it bothered me all night.

And when I woke up inthe morning, it was gone,

I mean, literally gone.

Nothin' there.

It was back to normal, nopain, no swelling, no nothin',

and boy I jumped around thehouse praising God all morning.

I'd never had anythingheal like that before.

I was able to go backto work the next week,

which I was happy about.

Customers were happy that Iwas able to get back to work,

and it's been good ever since.

It was very miraculous, andit was a miracle from God,

and I thank Him every dayto this day for healin' me.

He's faithful, and He doeswhat He says He's gonna do,

and as long as you havefaith and believe in Him,

He will always be thereto take care of you.
