- Well we've got some birthday email,

and we're gonna start withAnnette, Pat, who says,

"Happy Birthday, Pat.

"You're such a blessing to somany and still going strong.

"I just love to hear your newssegment as it's not biased,

"we hear the truth from you.

"I would love to know whatthe biggest changes are

"that you've seen in our world?"

- Oh, I think the addition of the iPhone

and all that communications.

When I started out,

I mean, we only had afew broadcast networks.

Now there's proliferation,there's news everywhere.

But the thing that I dislike though

is the anger, the hatred that exists.

You know, when I was growingup, my father was a Democrat.

He had a prayer meetingwith the Republicans

in the senate every Wednesday.

And they worked as collaboratorsfor the good of the country

and this partisanship is so corrosive,

so that's one of the changes,

but we're devilish withnews (laughs) you know?

But we're doing what we can

to bring the truth about it, all right.

- This is Trinnia who says,"Pat, how do I get the faith

"that you've had for your lifeand throughout your ministry?

"I love the Lord withall my heart and soul

"and keeping praying, butI feel like I'm not worthy.

- Listen, none of us are worthy.

We can't, the deal is yougive God all the glory,

and all you have to dois just when He tells you

to do something, do it.

I mean, it's just that simple.

We trust the Lord, andthat's all I've done.

I mean, the Lord says, go do this,

and yes, sir, I go do it.

I mean, you know, andthe Lord then meets me.

But you know, when you seeJesus walking on the water,

and Peter said, "Bid me to come out."

Jesus didn't throw Peter out of the boat.

Peter had to get out of the boat

and the minute his feet touched the water,

the miracle took place.

And as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus,

he kept on walking.

The minute he began to think,

hey, I shouldn't be walkingon water, he started to drown.

So as long as we keepour eyes on the Lord,

nothing is impossible.

- Kay, this is Shirley who says,

"Pat, if you had one scriptureyou would base your life on,

"what would it be?

"God bless and happy 90th and many more."

- Probably Romans 8:28, you know?

God works everything together for good

in them that love Him,that those are the called

according to His purposes.

And I believe God will work everything out

according to His love, okay?

- This is Irvine who says,

"Hey, Pat, what was the wattage

"of your first TV stationantenna there in Virginia?"

- Oh we would about 19.70 RP,

we had a one kilowatt transmitter,

and the antenna kicked it up 17 times,

to it was about 17 points.

I think that was it.

- You had some interesting days there.

- Oh yeah, I was a chief engineer,

I worked on everything you could work on,

I ran camera, I ran the switcher,

I did everything you can do.

- (laughs) Good thing, youneeded that now and then.

Okay this is Brian, whosays, "Happy Birthday, Pat.

"You're an inspiration to many.

"Have you seen all ofyour dreams come true,

"or do you still have dreams and goals

"that you're hoping to accomplish?"

- Oh darn, I'm just warming up.

No, I think for our university,

that's gotta be 300,000 or more,

I wanted to get it worldwide.

I think CBN has got much more to do,

and there are many nationsthat still need the gospel,

but we're getting there, all right.

- (laughs) One year at a time, right?

This is Abigail who says,"Hi Pat, my name is Abbie,

"and I'm really grateful for your lessons

"on foundations of faith.

"My question is, my churchhas no discipleship class,

"and I really need on sinceI got born again so soon.

"What advice do you have for me, Pat?"

- Well my advice isget in the word itself.

I mean, you know, theBible says we have no need

that anybody teach us, 'causethe anointing we receive

teaches us, and it'll lead to all truth.

So get a decent translation.

You know, King James istoo much thees and thous,

but something like the NIV,

and start in the gospel of John,

and then read the book ofActs, or read the Proverbs,

and take one verse, and thenyou have to just meditate on it

and let it spin in your mind,

and then go to the nextone and the next one,

and you'll be amazingwhat will come to life.

It really will.
