- President Trump might be overseas

at the NATO summit, buthis impeachment issues

at home are still top of mind.

I think the Democrats shouldbe ashamed of theirselves.

for scheduling more hearings

while he's out of the country,

maintaining Democrats have no case.

- If you look at impeachment,the word impeachment,

here there is nothingwrong, nothing done wrong,

it was a perfect conversationwith a very nice gentleman,

the president of the Ukraine.

The conversation was perfect.

- [Abigail] But house intelligencechairman, Adam Schiff,

painted a different pictureof the report on MSNBC's

Rachael Maddow show.

- This is a veryimportant point, which is,

the evidence on Ukraine is overwhelming,

but the evidence onobstruction of Congress

is also overwhelming.

- [Abigail] Claiming proofTrump abused his power.

- This is a president whohas sought for intervention

in US elections twice now

and even in the midst ofour impeachment inquiry,

is again out publicly saying not only

should Ukraine do this,

but China should alsoinvestigate my opponent.

- [Abigail] Leaving Trump to fire back.

- He's a maniac.

- [Woman] What would you want to learn

if he testified?

- I think Adam Schiff isa deranged human being.

- [Abigail] While theDemocrat controlled house

will likely vote to impeach Trump,

Republicans claim in their own report

the evidence presenteddoes not prove any of these

Democrat allegations,adding no witness testified

to evidence of bribery,extortion, or any high crime

or misdemeanor.

GOP Senators are also sticking with him.

- This whole Ukrainianexercise in the house,

the way they're doing itand the substance of it,

I'm not impressed.

I'm hoping for the good of the country

that it doesn't come to the Senate.

- During Wednesday's hearing,four constitutional law

experts will be questionedon the specifics

of high crimes and misdemeanors,

then members will eventually decide

whether to draw up officialarticles of impeachment.
